If it's just one and it's not moving around they aren't bad. You fire an arrow at its eye beam part to stun it so it doesn't shoot more, then you attack its legs to cut them off so it can't run away.

If its too mobile and manages to beam you into ragdoll form it's a bad time, and they try to keep some distance from you to make it worse. It's mostly bad if there's multiple of them and you don't have healing items/ guardian armour to reduce damage. Master sword makes a solo one pretty easy.

The biggest problem Zelda faces is that the Hylians don't have a divine beast of their own. If any of the other races found a way to reactivate their divine beast, they'd be drastically better armed than Zelda and her army, just by way of having a giant indestructible war machine. They wouldn't even need to arm it, just have it stomp and crash through enemy lines.

Zelda would have to find a way to get any remaining guardians working again to have a chance, and even then they might not be enough to balance the scales against a literal metal gear.

Their divine beast seems incredibly mobile, so if they utilized it as a troop transport that would partially negate the problem of their mobility, but you're right about the other two. Plus that depends on whether or not they would even side with Zelda against the Gerudo.

Thinking about it now though, if the Rito sided with Zelda, that could potentially be a problem since they're a race of highly skilled archers, and Vah Nabooris is weak to bomb arrows. How they would get close enough to use them would still be their biggest problem.

I think I scouted all the stables, that's how I found the random shrine quest dude actually. I could double check just in case though.
I don't know if the time of day affects them, like the person that gives it goes to sleep or has another activity that cancels the sidequest, but I have a suspicion it can, since like I said about the Goron hot springs one, the one time I went around before there there was just one old guy saying nothing interesting.
Another thing would be people out in bumfuck nowhere where they would be hard to even run into in the first place, but I can't tell IF I'm missing any or where they could be.
I don't think I have quests left in the big towns at least, but I could be very much wrong.

did you finish the quest about the loli Zora sending a letter and the one in the heart shaped lake? I remember missing those two because I focused on the towns and stables.

I'd feel a lot more incentive to continue exploring in this game if I didn't already know exactly what the rewards were going to be beforehand.
In that sense I feel like getting all the powers right at the beginning may not have been a good decision.
I want to go into an area and not know what I'm going to get at the end. A good example I guess would be that gold mask in Wind Waker. It was totally unique and unexpected and a great feeling of discovery.

Fuck man, I was looking forward to the dungeons.

So far the game has been one pile of "meh" to me. It started off fucking god tier with the small amounts of hearts/stamina bar and genuine feel of "survival" and now it just feels like a checklist slog.

I'll never get the hype behind that Zelda. At least Twilight Princess offered some great dungeons. Wind Waker sucked in every facet as a Zelda game. The dungeons were complete trash and the "tri force shard" section makes me quit on every new playthrough that I attempt.

The Gerudo in the past were a good mix of women who value their appearance as women but also want to kick ass without impediment.

I'm genuinely curious, why the FUCK do Zelda games get overrated so much? I get the love for Ocarina of Time (genuinely pioneered the 3D adventure genre) and Majoras Mask (fantastic atmosphere, side quests and time concept). That's what makes the most sense. In SS, the Sheikah have already given up technology and the robot technology is in ruins in the desert. Demise's claim to create a recurring curse seems like it is probably the birth of Ganon. That fight against Demise was after Link traveled back in time to the battlefield of Demise's time period, which would put it at the beginning of the cycle.

If you have to involve a male for them to reproduce, there will never be an instance in which at least one half of the genetic contribution comes from a creature with a Hylean set of DNA. Every Gerudo could only ever carry one Gerudo gene and one of a different gene.
