Wut. Last year's February was a MASSIVE recover followed by a 30k loss, sure, it was inflated and half of those newcomers leaving was expected but game managed to stay >1m up to the TI.


Now this year...recently we got the biggest patch in history and not even giving free treasures (darkmoon shit) the recover was significant . March got a DEADLY, heavier than 2016's March but without the February's massive boost to back up.

I was expecting a small recover to stop this bleeding but we still are in a 4k drop. Kiev is coming so things my change a bit but we might face this next TI under 900k without much hope to go back to the 1m glory.


I'm trying to serious here, but my own personal experience was fucked up by this patch and my dotards says the same. My is either dead or playing CS:GO. My Discord shows more and more Overwatch. I barely play dotes now, the only thing I do is watch.

I just want my good and old dotka back.

For some god awful reason I cannot get my solo MMR out of the gutter of 3.7k. My team plays against 4-6k MMR teams and I do absolutely fine. But no when I play Pos5 support in pubs I Mirana's nuking neutral creeps that are pulling our creeps to reset the lane equilibrium which my AM can't keep

I get labelled as a flamer when i try to communicate. thing is I'm pretty low mmr (3k flat). At least half my team every game apparently does not even hear anything you say. The other half usually pays more attention to the fact that what you're saying implies a flaw in their preconceived strategy rather than the actual contents of your words.

I see basically all high mmr streamers communicate a lot, but in a very censored way that won't upset the baby-like egos of most players. I don't know how to persuade people who are like that.

I just played a game where a Storm got out of control, tons of pickoffs because we had zero wards on the map for most of the game. I ask Lion to buy wards so he does and puts them down by our towers, even though the enemy team isn't pushing when we are alive. I tell him to go deep and put down wards so we can see Storm before he jumps. I ping certain places in our jungle and by the river mid. He tells me he can't go there, so I tell him to buy smoke. He does, then proceeds to go and put wards by enemy t3s for some fucking reason. No one at my level actually understands how to play the fucking game. I think it would be better to actually not talk to my team at all.

I've been looking into tower-killing supps lately. Ratting heroes like NP and BM are nice to close off a game on your own while the other 9 are jerking each other off for dat KDA and it gives me a lot of satisfaction.
There's a very large lack of understanding about the game in the general playerbase. They think scaling on a hero is just stacking DPS items over and over, moonshard BOTS2 daedalus butterfly bloodthorne divine rapier

But stuns in the late game are the real winners. At level 7 you can max your stun but it's alright because heroes can't kill you in 2 seconds, come late game when everyone's hitting for a thousand or something or have 2 disables each, you just might the PA critting for 2k each hit but you have to enjoy watching your team get wiped while you're flung up into the air by a Tornado, then getting the 5v1 treatment when they turn on you in the end.

Yeah I agree, BKB is too good to avoid. I like to my friends: "bkb gives more dps than daedalus because you do 0 dps while stunned". A good hard carry needs good reading to know when's the time to go bkb or not, I'm a mediocre hc at best so I tend to trust in their decision since a too early bkb will only cripple his farm but omg, buy the bkb to maintain is ahead, this is defense of the rubberbanding, can't risk lose two TF in a row to a chain stun

I've been having more success playing stuff like Lina than CM, even if I play both on pos 5, when you're ahead with Lina and you see that kind of shit happening at least you can flash farm some stuff and be more relevant and even split push to some extent

My days gets better if someone takes LC to lane because they can win 1v1 lanes and sometimes dual lanes if they're good. But that's probably 1 in 200 games.
I've seen people queue up midas or god forbid, battlefuries hoping that we win the lanes 4v5 so that they can clean up the game with godlike streaks.

puck forces the enemy to focus him. He doesn't do much damage compared to a carry but between coil, silence and eul's it's basically required for you to deal with him, and he's incredibly difficult to pin down. Every second that puck runs interference was another second that trees were hitting tower or rax. And of course the game winning tp cancel dream coil was a huge part of his appeal as well. Ministuns are fantastic utility skills on a coordinated team.

pl is one of the funnest heroes in dota, and the massive nerfs to alch/naga thanks to pro scene ricers have absolutely dumpstered the innocent spearfisher. He needs to not feed gold every time he right clicks, and he needs slightly more teamfight potential.
