Graphics, gameplay mechanics, UI, framerate, physics, etc. can all be objectively viewed and defined so long as you know the empirical standard even if you yourself don't agree with it.

Most everything is subjective really. There are super obscure games or ones that were buggy messes on launch but later became well loved and stuff. I think even at their best in the past reviews were inherently untrustworthy, and now with most 'professional' game reviewers being partly paid by advertising revenue from publishers/developers and the whole mess of contrarian silliness that is steam reviews/user reviews in general the only way to really be sure on a game is to try it out first before buying it.

It'd be easy if I knew to play anything other than Striker and Sunbreaker. Out of like the 250 hours or whatever I have on Crucible, 246 of it is on my Titan. 200+ or with my Striker until I finally decided to give Sunbreaker a go.
I had to resort to using a Scout, pop my Super and just pick people off at a distance. Because I always ran into Nightstalkers and Strikers. Always. One fucking team had 4 goddamn Strikers and 2 Nightstalkers. They weren't even in a fireteam. It was hell. It also doesn't help that I'm shit at PvP.
Worst part is, I need to do all fucking 3 of my Hunter ones. I don't think I even have their melees quest finisned.

So, when Rā's al Ghūl comes to the Gotham Tower and destroys the Traveler. He strips guardians of light and disables the ghosts.

This brings up two questions for me.

First of all, why are the ghosts disabled? Grimoire pretty heavily implies that, while the ghosts can interface with the Traveler's databases and powers, They are autonomous, and can continue operating as long as there is light. Not to mention the only reason the Guardians are immortal is due to the ghosts channeling light to regenerate them. Without Ghosts we're all mortal.

Secondly. What happens to the Stormcaller, Sunbreakers, and Nightstalkers? Their powers are not granted by the Traveler, and even the things like bladedancer invisibility was shown to be just golden age tech.

The word strip has a very specific connotation, but a lot of guardian abilities don't come from the traveler. So unless Rā's al Ghūl literally strips guardians naked, it doesn't explain why they would be stripped of power.

Its gonna suck if this turns out being another "Splicers have always existed." last minute asspull garbage that breaks the canon.

Theory crafting, this is important and exactly what those fucking idiots who claim thats whats what are doing, states the ghosts are powered by the Light the traveler gives off as are we though we're also biological.
Idea is they trapped the traveler in the bubble instead of that just being a design choice which prevents the Light being an ambient "particle".
