Thats like 8 hours in. The "tutorial" part of the game is fucking hell and one of the few legitimate problems with this game. Even with skipping all the cutscenes and the like, took me 2 hours to actually play the game and actually start the first dungeon.

Things to consider:

The strength of each Persona user is wildly different. It's commonly regarded that the P3 protagonist is the strongest single member of the franchise, I won't personally disagree but I have some points.

Canonically, the cast of P1 and both P2 should be stronger than the cast of P3-5. This has a lot to do with the fact that it's not just the protagonist of the respective game that can have multiple personas, everyone can. The fact that from 3 on, each party member gets 1 persona that is then upgraded later is a huge step back in overall strength.

I think an accurate list of strength of Persona users would be as such:

P3 MC > P2 leads > P1 lead > P2 cast > P1 cast > P3 cast > P5 cast > P4 cast

Ultimately, I think the P3 cast would be stronger than the P5 and P4 cast mostly due to fighting in the real world instead of alternate realities.

I am still not convinced MC is the strongest desu.
We had this conversation few threads ago; while MC's final boss was seemingly the strongest, he only defeated Nyx thanks to Igor. Without his help he wouldn't achieve Universe, which seemed like a temporary boost anyway. He doesn't get World like Yu or Potter, his ultimate persona is only a Judgement. He is the only protagonist that was completely replaced by a new character and said new character achieved exactly the same thing he did. Even if he was the only protag capable of using fusion spells, P-Team replaced them with gems in P3P so it doesn't seem like that ability is that meaningful.
He achieved the most but powerlevel-wise I don't think he should be that high up.
