How do I get good at Widow? I want to pick her up and I think I have an acceptable ability to aim to start, though I have my ups and downs like anyone and can always be more consistent. But I feel like I don't have a grasp of her ins and outs. Positioning, mines, etc.

And I also have plain queue anxiety about the matter just because of the nature and pressure of the class, like "if you pick this, you better fucking do well."

Don't dive in like a retard. Eat ults, burst Rein shields from behind your own Rein, eat firestrikes. Save plenty of DM for when they have a Pharah so you can eat the pharah ult and fly into her and deactivate to make her kill herself.
Remember you can boop niggers off the edge with your shift, remember to keep an eye out for Zarya when she's about to ult, headshot roadhogs, fire your ult from angles or use it for zoning.

Get used to using your grapple as a movement ability, not just to reach high perches. It should be an instinctive, go-to option for escaping unfavourable situations (e.g. D.Va/Winston dives). Its CD is longer than most movement abilities, but still shorter than you'd think in practice.

Also as with most heroes your priority should be:
>Good DPS/Major threats to your team or to you personally (A good Pharah would be a prime example)
>Healers, especially Ana who can disrupt and countersnipe you
>Low health tanks
>Mediocre DPS
>Tanks with a healer glued to their backs

I used to think this too, until I sorta changed my mindset when playing her. I stopped playing anywhere near as aggressively as I did in season 3, worked more on confirming kills and creating openings.

When you think about it rationally, that's basically what all the tanks do. They make openings, and current 400/200 D.Va does that just fine. I can't say 300/300 would make her overpowered, but I'm perfectly content with 400/200 right now.

t. master-GM who has 7+ hours on all the tanks and at least 1 hour on every other hero, and is able to look at things holistically.

I honestly feel like I have the most fun in QP these days as Sombra but she feels so ineffectual. So much work for so little gain. Her movement feels great, hacking stuff feels great (especially shields), her EMP is difficult to land well but when you manage it that feels great too. But her gun is just awful and for all the good feels it's extremely rare to feel like you're being relevant at all to the objective of the game or the rest of your team.

Also, putting her in the offense category is a joke. If Symmetra counts as a support, then Sombra should too.

I spent real money to purchase approximately 75 loot crates by the time I was done and I didn't get Witch Mercy in any of them. I got everything else, which I now regret, because hindsight is 20/20 and looking at them now Frankenhog, Junkenstein, etc. are all actually pretty terrible (even the good skins are outclassed by other skins that belong to their champions) and I was just blinded by my love of Halloween and the hype surrounding the event.

We were on the OR-15 bit and instead of holding the door where the payload blew up to kill the first OR and it's minions, Rein goes round the corner to the Bastion who can't even attack us yet and dies. Tracer then follows then Mercy and they die. Fucking whyyy!? What made the Rein think avoiding the enemies to jump straight to a Bastion who can't see us yet a good idea?

But before you shoot me down read the whole thing first

A hero who's kit is centered around ultimates.
Primary fire does basic damage.
First ability steals ult charge from a selected enemy and adds it to the hero's own. (Like Zenyatta's Orb of Discord allowing extra damage)
Second ability increases ult charge rate of nearby teammates during the duration of the effect
Alternate Fire takes stolen ult charge and gives it to teammates.
Passive slowly generates extra ult charge for nearby teammates.
Ultimate splits 100% ult charge between nearby teammates, up to a maximum of 50% on one target and refunding 50% of your ult.

Haven't thought of a name, or a look, or any specific stats short of the ultimate.

It's possible to solo the turret Bastions in the last part as Tracer.
I had a lot of success doing that while my team focused on other stuff. They stop tracking you when you go out of sight, so just peek it and dump about half a mag at a time, then bomb and recall. It spends most of its time whipping back and forth between targets and doesn't end up doing much damage.
