Luck rings kind of suck stat wise, you can switch at the end of the kill if you really want. IIRC some of the GWD1 bosses have a special attack like 20 seconds in that will hit harder than usual so it's ideal to speed up dps, plus asylum surgeon helps a little with adrenaline.

Amulet of zealots is when your issue is dps.
Demonhorn is when your issue is prayer supplies.
You don't have the turmoil set yet, so you can't really do anything for accuracy.

Luck potions exist, so you shouldn't really be wasting a ring slot for something so trivial.
The basic luck potion will work for the gwd1 bosses.

When it comes to the supposed drop table rework I am as clueless as everyone else, but I often get a feeling that they think Jagex is going to *literally* remove every single non unique drop from the bosses, resulting in them either dropping a certain item or absolutely fuck all (bones)

Personally I think Jagex just wants to tone down some of the resource drops but still keep them as a part of the bosses drop table. From their POV I can see why it's problematic that killing monsters is a better source of resources than actual skilling, I'm just concerned that they at the same time want to return the newer bosses' drop tables to gwd1 tier loot where you either get (or rather got, considering the current prices of gwd1 uniques) a unique drop and make bank or you get like 5 to 50K worth of resources.

I'm also not sure whether or not the current playerbase will be able to support the current demand for raw materials if they only could enter the game through skilling activities.

To be precise, in the case of raids I normally have a bunch of people added that I can invite (or alternatively they invite me) but in most cases I still need to find 1-3 randoms to fill out the remaining group slots. I really wonder what Jagex's plans for skills are. They introduced the concept of elite skills such as Invention that essentially was supposed to be three existing skills combined into something new. You'd think that they would start planning another elite skill utilising the other existing skills in the game, for example a Cooking/Herblore/Farming elite skill that produces certain consumables or something, but instead they raise the level cap for Slayer, indicating that they have no qualms with raising the level cap if they mean they can justify it with "muh content"
This puts us in a somewhat akward spot because now they've opened up two different future paths for the game's skills but they can only focus on one at a time, especially if they want the update to be worthwhile. Either they make another elite skill and completely ignore fixing the existing skills or they make another 120 skill and completely ignore the new concept they've introduced

Skills like Sailing (Construction, Crafting, Fishing) or Ranching (Farming, Summoning, Hunter) would be interesting and unique.

As for 120s I'd be surprised if we saw that happen after Slayer. The community was overwhelmingly against it when they polled 120 for Mining and Smithing and reactions were clearly mixed when Slayer was announced.
Jagex even felt the need to justify their decision with another BS "It's absolutely for the future/health of the game" excuse.

If the mining/smithing rework is well received then we'll probably see more reworks in place of new skills/120 expansions.
Which isn't that bad considering Construction, Agility, Crafting, and Fletching are desperately in need of reworks

It's far easier than what most people tend to believe which is why it's such a shame that people bring out their yaks for Yaka (Or even BM)
If you don't have it already get the enhanced devoted perk on one of your armour pieces. While not essential it's a beast of a perk and procs extremely often during Yakamaru.

What really matters is when you use the regular devotion ability. Since it blocks all damage from Yaka for 10 seconds you'll want to use it at a time where it gets to block as many attacks as possible without it getting cancelled by the tendril/sand pool's special attacks.

Unless you're the base tank targetting a jellyfish (Which you should, since you'll want to stun/bind them when they spawn so you can get a free 1800-2000 heal by resonancing the black pools that spawn alongside them) temporarily prevents Yakamaru from dealing damage to you which means you can put on soul split and heal up whatever damage you've taken up until that point. This also applies to the jellyfishes that spawn in between every phase although you should only start killing them once you've killed/phased the middle pool.

So basically:
Soul split whenever targetting a jellyfish, use t90 shield to maximise healing from the black pools
Tendril, Shark and Stun pool: Devotion as soon as you've killed the Jellyfish
Sand pool: Devotion as soon as it becomes available *after* you've been sanded.

Coupled with Enhanced Excalibur you rarely need more than 1-2 inventory slots worth of healing per pool. I can comfortably do any role but in extremely long (15+ minutes) kills without having to rely on a pack yak to save my ass
