What they should do is make it so that for a kill to count for you, you have to do more than a percent of the targets health as damage, say 30% or maybe 40%.
They have a system to calculate that already too as it shows you the percentage of the damage you did whenever you get an elimination so it would be pretty easy to implement.

Are there specific heroes its best to use to solo queue?

I feel like its almost completely reliant on the luck of the team mates I get.

Until Master mechanical skill doesn't matter, because you can't carry in OW until you are some pro.
These skill are the important ones:
1. Teamwork/Communication: The team with the better teamwork will always win! Even obvious things like ult-kombos win matches. Always communicate clearly. Praise if someone does something good. Never shit on someone for any reason. Mentality wins games.
Also what heroes can you play that compliment your teamcomposition.
2. Positioning: Highly overlooked! Always be in the perfect postition depending on the hero you play. Try to find out the perfect angles and corners of a map.
3. Timing: When and when not to use an ability or ultimate. Also remembering what abilities of the enemy are on cooldown or what ults are probably coming at you soon and communicate that to your team.

As stated first, mechanical skill is the least important until you reach a certain rank.


Bonus: Targetpriority
Learn what your hero is supposed to to at any given moment in the match.

Learn in detail what heroes you don't play can and can not do.

I've identified the biggest flaw in my Genji play, and it's failure to make impact with dragon blade. I do enough damage to get 20 dragon blades during each match, but sometimes I struggle to kill anyone with the dragon blade. Sometimes, I die before killing anyone. I feel like I am unleashing it at the incorrect time.

I'm playing at mid diamond and if I could figure this out, I think I would become master rank.

Is there any genji autist that can offer tips on when to unleash, or tips to using it to the full effect?

Some problems I'm having:

>enemies use trance
>I try to focus down mercy but she keeps flying away from me. I can chase with dash but if she flies away, gets bubbled by zarya, and then flies away again in just 2 seconds, should i give up the chase and focus down other targets? or just keep chasing her?
>is it okay to use deflection while my sword is out and convert the ultimate into more of a distraction tool so that the rest of my team can get picks?

I believe the flaw with your play is that you do not check to see if Zarya and Ana are healthy and concentrating on you when you unleash the dragon blade.
