Wow that's really interesting to hear about Tobin. I like making him a mage in gaiden because his high base speed lets him double stuff that the others couldn't, and he gets excalibur early. Tobin can suffice as an early game mage until you have Delthea to replace him. But in the long-run, Kliff is better in any class. I think he's the best of the villagers by far. I like using him as an archer because he has good growths unlike the others.

Even without a buff I'm pretty sure Kliff has an absurd 50% speed growth. And I recall he gets excalibur only one level later than Tobin.
The issue with Kliff in gaiden is that his base speed means he can't double shit as a mage, but that doesn't last long due to his growths.
On second thought, I'm not going to believe anyone that says Kliff sucks. That doesn't make sense to me. I'll find out the truth when I play it.

Lucina in her actual game was pretty meh plotwise, didn't have any lasting impact on the main plotline but her support convos were interesting enough.

Future Past Lucina was an actual heroine and the whole final part of that DLC arc is one of my favorite moments of Awakening.

Crossover Lucina is inoffensive enough, and her role as free roaming adventurer after the events of Awakening makes her a great choice as a series rep for things other characters besides maybe the Annas wouldn't fit as well. It is neat how Chrom decides to tag team with her in Project X Zone 2 though for family bonding.

It makes anyone able to fuck anyone else for the most part. Most of the supports just take you to S rank since there aren't any conversations written for them yet. You'll also have to do some hex editing if you want kids due you how gender works in the game. I did it because I really wanted to do some /ll/ with Elise and Midoriko, but only Corrin is capable of that. Something like Camilla and Sakura is still impossible because the creator of the hack is a prude and thinks age gap is creepy. I think they're full of shit for it, but it's not as if I'd ever be able to change their minds.

Also buddy seals don't really work anymore, but if you're already hacking the game then there shouldn't be anything stopping you from hacking the skills and classes you want on your characters in the first place.

Honestly don't, but let me list the pros and cons for you to decide:
>Pros
Beginner friendly unlike other free CCGs.
(Mostly) Balanced cards made by people that actually play card games.
Good aesthetic and themes thanks to its origins.
Balance patches do occur unlike other games.

As you progress it is harder to stay completely f2p.
Just like in every other card game decks get refined to a point where it's basically "use one of these two or never climb the ladder".
The few cards that are unbalanced tend to centralize the meta game really hard.
The game gets stale real fast, like every other CCG. Best time to play is the first couple of weeks after an expansion hits (i.e. right now since the newest expansion released like 2 weeks ago).

Played it for less than a month and reached A3 in those three weeks I believe. I dropped it a week or two after the Rise of Bahamut expansion was released. I seriously love card games, but SV didn't do it for me. I still visit the general from time to time to get pictures of cute girls though.
