NekoPara Vol. 3 was slated for an April 28, 2017 release but Sayori, the creator and illustrator of the series, has been hospitalized for a sudden illness. Due to these unfortunate circumstances, the release date is to be postponed till May 26, 2017.

Given the sudden nature of this announcement and how close it is to the original release date, we sincerely apologize for having disappointed everyone who had been patiently awaiting this release.

The way it builds up the paranoia and helplessness creates an atmosphere I haven't found in many other VNs. There's only really one major "horrible death" that serves as a shock factor, usually called the PTSD arc as the main character just kinda breaks down. If you don't know who the character is or at what point it happens then you're safe.

If you do know the character then that's not really the whole world, the initial shock is just there to make you realize the severity of the BETA and how noone is safe from dying. You'll still experience the same feelings as everyone else minus the "WTF JUZ HAPPENED" factor, so I'd say it's still worth it as there's much more to MLA than just that.
