Overwatch has more players in a match, shorter time to kill, no items, and you can switch freely between characters, so you're never expected to commit to one. Paladins has fewer, you customize your character both inside and outside a match, you take longer to die, but you can't switch anything once you've chosen it in a match. Overwatch's maps have more chokepoints, but they're honestly more diverse in looks. Paladins has very few one-hit-kills, while Overwatch has a few.

The maps that aren't based around chokepoints (KotH) are still awful because heroes typically aren't mobile enough to make anything outside of a few select heroes viablle.

So I just went and bought a discounted booster and opened 231 chests I had saved since season 1 release. If anyone cares, here are some numbers.

>Total essence 490k, average of 2k per chest
>102 skins, ~11% drop rate
>21 legendaries, ~2.7% drop rate
>28 emotes, ~3%
>51 poses, ~5.5%
>75 sprays, ~8.1%

I have every pose, emote and I think I'm missing one or two sprays. Most legendaries were fucking default duplicates (like 75% of them) and it's probably rigged or I'm just unlucky.

As for bugs, duplicate skins don't give essence and I got 3 drops instead of 4 like two times. Pretty good for Hi Rez

I always thought I hated king of the hill so I was worried that I'd hate siege mode. Then I realised I don't hate king of the hill, I hate Overwatch's king of the hill maps.

Almost all of Overwatch's koth maps are annoying like Ice Mines where to cap, you have to stand in an open firing range while the opponents bombard you from cover. Need more maps like Jaguar Falls where there's plenty of cover on and around the cap point. It's just so good.
