I prefer AMD, because they age better. My HD7950 still does great job in Nier at 1080p on medium settings, but apparently 660ti and 670 have performance problems. I still don't really feel forced to upgrade after 5 years. I don't even have to lower resolution.

There doesn't seem to be a Trails/LoH general so I guess I'll ask here.

Can you switch the character you control outside of battle in Cold Steel like you can in Trails in the Sky, or is it just Rean all the time? It's pretty minor but I'm curious.

I would like a general for discussion of Japanese games altogether, though. Something like /jrpgg/ except not limited to RPGs and without spoiler spammers or moonspeaker vs EOP wars. That's probably wishful thinking, though.

Who Bayonetta port hype here? Finally a chance to play the game for those who went with PC and Sony consoles.

Most of these are also on console true, but I think a lot of the games discussed in these various generals are multiplat in some way or another anyways. Being multiplat doesn't stop people from discussing the games; just the interest in the particular platform brings people together, and each platform has its own set of unique traits that come with them that may requires their own discussion. For PC gaming, people might help each other fix bugs, (many Japanese games on PC tend to have a couple hiccups that may cause people problems) and problems that someone might have or maybe just give each other a heads up on sales occurring on Steam, similar to how someone might on the Nintendo eshop or PSN. Just some various suggestions and ideas.

Either way like I said, if this doesn't work out, a general just for Japanese games altogether doesn't sound like a bad idea.

I'm pretty hype

Most of Platinum's games are pretty fantastic, and while Nier was good, Bayonetta is Platinum's best gameplay wise. This'll help continue to satisfy that Platinum itch. I just hope it wasn't the only thing SEGA had hidden up its sleeve for this year.
