It's actually a small buff to Lucio in the hands of a good player.

It's tricky. What we've seen in the past month is... I think Reinhardt is a very central and core character to Overwatch. What we're seeing out of the pro scene right now is not that he's a must-have. What's been great in the Apex tournament in South Korea is, we're seeing a lot of usage of Zarya, D.Va, Winston. Winston, even before we buffed him, was getting a lot of play in Korea. We feel like Reinhardt's not necessarily the must-pick that players perceive him to be.

He's also a tricky character, because if you do certain things to Reinhardt you risk removing him from the meta altogether, and I don't think anybody wants to see that. His shield, for example, if you were to nerf his shield too much, Reinhardt without his shield is essentially useless. His hammer does a good amount of damage, but he has to really get in to be able to use it. Charge is a very risky ability, and Fire Strike is very hard to land. It's a very slow-moving projectile, and while it does a lot of damage, it's a long cool-down, and it's not reliable as a source of damage for him. I don't think anybody wants to see Reinhardt go away.

I think Reaper is somebody who ebbs and flows as the meta does. An example when Ana's Nano Boost is used to give the movement speed buff, we were seeing a lot of Reaper in play at the time. The more we see Winston, the more we see Reaper. Reaper is a fantastic counter to Winston. I do think we'll see more Reaper as the meta shifts around. With that said, we're trying some stuff internally on Reaper right now. I don't know if it will see the light of day or not, but it's internal only right now, and it's very minor. Just a little bit of quality of life issues that we're trying to pick up with him. I think Reaper is not in a terrible spot.

Seventy-six is somebody who we've balanced back and forth quite a number of times. He's very dominant right now, and he's very prevalent in the meta, but we don't think he's too far off. If anything, maybe his damage is a little too high. I would hate to knock 76 back so far that he drops out of the meta. We need to be really careful with these things, because the littlest tweak can really change, not only the actual balance, but even worse is the perceived balance. Player perception of what's viable or not is actually more important than what is actually viable right now or not, and once players decide something like, "76 is useless, we won't play him any more", that's more devastating than anything else. We need to be careful, not only about the actual balance, but then the perceived balance.

Alright so, I'm not a very experienced player, I mostly play casually. But I've been wanting to get better at the non-obligatory characters who I'm already confident with (Rein, Lucio, Soldier), so I've been putting time with Tracer.

I really like her playstyle, the short clip on the gun can be frustrating but it's also very satisfying blinking in and out of situations and mowing people down, taking out the proper picks, bullying the Reinhardt, and etc. Sometimes people yell at me for picking her but it works out most of the time and it's bronze league anyway.

But how the FUCK do I use her ult?

I swear to christ half the time I throw it at someone and it just lands at their feet, and the other half I end up blink dashing into a wall and killing myself and only myself, and the sliver between those two halves I somehow manage to get it stuck on Reinhardt and ONCE on a Genji by what I'm sure was an accident. When it goes off and kills three people and lets us win it's awesome. But fuck! How close do I have to be to actually get it on someone's body without that someone killing me in the process? Should I aim a bit up so it gets thrown in a trajectory? I seriously don't get it at all.

Her ult is pretty hard to land. If you are not good with it, try to stick it on the tanks from behind. Then go back to killing their supports. And communicate your kills in voicechat.
The more you play the better feeling you get about Tracers blink distances and her cooldowns.
Tracer is one of the hardest heroes to play, so practice, practice, practice.

I find the easiest way is to blink literally on top of the enemy rein and throw your bomb on him, assuming there is no zarya to combo your ult with. Hitting the rein gives a good chance a support will explode from the proximity.

Supports are going to get ult quickly if they are half decent. When you play against a mercy you should always assume she has res up at all times. EMP builds quicker than support ults if your team is using your health packs off CD, and EMP disables support ults anyway.

You are way oversimplifying the issue. Flankers rely on hp packs for sustain, sombra can deny this. If a 1v1 happens near a hp pack, your team has the edge from the hacked hp pack.


The mark of a bad sombra IMO is one that hacks a health pack on the other side of the map, pokes at their team over and over without ever confirming kills (also feeds support ult) and has no presence in teamfights besides EMP.

Without seeing the video, I can't really tell you who was at fault. Some people never even use the X button to tell the Ana their ult is ready and they want it.

Usually what I do is prompt the ana or zarya or whoever that I'd like to combo my ult with theirs and once I start spamming is when I think we should combo. Its worked for me without voice comms, its also worked for others.

So? If a flanker does enough damage quickly enough, which most flankers are meant to do, they can easily kill a Bastion with the literal glowing weakspot on his back.

Genjis have deflect, Tracers have high damage pulse pistols (and their ult), Reaper has very high damage shotguns up close, Sombra can hack and get one out of sentry mode. Even Pharahs, Widows, Junkrats, and Mccrees can be successful in taking potshots at a Bastion, not to mention other divers like Winston and people with stuns like Ana.

I have never had a real problem with Bastion over like level 30.
