Flowey had Asriel's dust, which could possibly be revived. (True Resurrection can make a new body). Also, True Resurrection can revive some creatures that have weird soul situations (like elementals who typically become part of whatever plain they came from apon death). I assume you mean separate in the meaning of making them dindus? If so, I agree. As does Asriel himself. That doesn't mean you can sympathise with or forgive him, but he did do wrong. Chara/Frisk is (as you say) different because unlike Asriel/Flowey they are definitely different people. Frisk is responsible for whatever they do in the game. All Chara does during the game is wipe out the universe if you take it too far.

This is an even bigger one. I think this goes back a bit into the old Jekyll/Hyde concept, but you have to remember that Hyde wasn't a fundamentally different person altogether, he was always every dark thought and base impulse that existed within Jekyll, except without the natural human restraint.

That is most definitely not the case for Chara and Frisk, as they existed as separate people and still are more different than, say, the amalgamates. If there was a definite unison between them, the whole 'you will give me a soul' thing would never come into play.

Let me explain myself better.

Frisk and Chara, as separate kids, are only half a person, incomplete beings, and are the missing half that the other lacks. Chara, in the past, seemed to mostly be a highly manipulative, misanthropic, possibly psychopathic, kid who probably never actually felt love and compassion themselves and only really knew hatred and rage for all of humanity and stuff, with desires to kill them all. Frisk, seems to be a friendly, kind, compassionate, flirtatious, pacifistic kid who wants would never hurt a fly, only wants the best for everyone, and probably never felt hatred towards anyone a day in their life.

They are so opposite and so far into being almost one dimensionally good or evil that they'd literally be unnable to understand the other's ideals unless they were fused into a single entity.

And as a single entity, The Human is a whole, complete being with positive thoughts and negative thoughts, positive impulses and negative impulses, etc etc. But, would they fall into darkness or are they strong enough to resist?

However I'm not sure the way you've written him sounds authentically like Flowey. Even if it's early Flowey who's transitioning away from the Asriel mindset it doesn't sound like how Flowey would internalise or explain Swamp Thing. It's a little too clinical.

Most people have the potential for love and compassion, as well as hatred and rage and apathy and stuff. There are base impulses and dark thoughts and emotions that everyone feels to some extent. But Frisk lacks those negative things and Chara lacks the positive things. Not to say that either one is really 'pure good or pure evil', they are just incomplete. Like, most people have a heart containing both light and darkness. But if you were to take that heart and rip out all of the darkness, it wouldn't just be a whole heart of light, it would just be half of a heart, with the light being half of the darkness that is now missing. That would be the case with Frisk, and the reverse is the case with Chara. A light that has never known darkness, and darkness that has never known light.

When the two become one, it's like there's now one heart with light and darkness, Frisk and Chara providing the missing piece that the other lacks. Through Chara, Frisk now has thoughts and urges telling them to fight, and through Frisk, Chara now has thoughts and urges telling them to have mercy. And stuff like that. But, it's also so equal on both sides on the outside, "The Human" is completely neutral and isn't really Frisk OR Chara. They may LOOK like Frisk while using Chara's name, but their actions are a complete mixture of Frisk and Chara's actions. It's only in True Pacifist or Genocide that Frisk can take the lead and "purify" Chara OR Chara can take the lead and "corrupt" Frisk, resulting in "The Human" either being pure good through and through or pure evil through and through, on both sides of their split-identity.

The thing is, though... that Flowey IS Asriel. He isn't some plant that thinks he's him, he IS him! Flowey and Asriel are the same person. If someone restore Asriel's soul and give it to Flowey, Flowey would literally turn back into Asriel physically. Look, I get it, you set up this elaborate portrayal to make it work for some kind of fan project, but much of what you're saying is based on nothing concrete.
