Is there a skill that affects the Brave gauge? Either for faster charging or longer red? I feel so neutered when it runs out that it hardly feels worth it.

It should really never run out because you recharge it by attacking the monster. Don't tell me you're not attacking the monster enough to keep Brave active? That's the whole POINT of the style. They give you a dodge specifically so you can play hyper aggressively.

Dropping MH for even a couple weeks gives you a hell of a time when coming back to it, you have to chug at least 6 mega pots per hunt, you get hit by shit you wouldn't even notice before, and stuff that even though it was a bit tough, was still doable when you were playing consistently just instantly triple carts you.

I've been unsuccessfuly searching for some infographic tracing the appearences of the serie's monsters, so here's the information on returning monsters I've gathered, in hopes that some anon will make one for the community. Note that I'm not taking note of introduced monsters and unless a monster has not been included in a game, it won't be listed (see the 3rd gen). I haven't listed subspecies for brevity.

So far I've dug up that the entire 1st gen rooster was carried over to the 2nd gen, but Yama Tsukami was absent from MHF2 and returned in MHFU.

In MH3, only Felyne, Melynx, Aptonoth, Kelbi, Rathalos, Rathian and Diablos return from the 1st gen; and only Popo from the 2nd.
A few aquatic species were absent in MHP3 for gameplay reasons: Epioth, Fish (yeah), Gobul, Lagiacrus and Ceadeus. New returners in MHP3 are Bullfango from the 1st gen; Anteka, Bulldrome, Nargacuga, Tigrex, Akantor and Ukanlos from the 2nd.
MH3U reintroduces all 5 aquatic monsters missing in MHP3, Plesioth from the 1st gen but the only 2nd gen monsters are Anteka, Nargacuga and Popo. I haven't checked properly, but every 3rd gen monster should be present.

As you can see, text isn't the ideal media for this sort of information.

Yes the DQ set has status +2 but once you poison a monster all its going to do is help you reach the next increase faster. It's not like DBs will have a problem applying status. I barely see anyone using them so I was just wondering if people who use poison DBs fully invest in it or if a crit boost set will still they end up killing it faster.

Evade +3 isn't in XX. Dunno what other skills you mean. The 4U G-rank compound skills like Brutality, Honed Blade and Steady Hand are in, but they cannot appear on charms and obviously can't be gemmed in so they're stuck on the shitty full sets that have them.

Super Deviants are the final quests for each deviants. They have bloated HP and attack multipliers on par with if not exceeding 140GQs. The super Snowbaron has about 2x the HP of G4 Snowbaron and more than 4x the attack multiplier. All you get for completing them are glowy colour pigments (like rainbow), a crown next to your hunter name in the lobby, and the ability to transmog to and from deviant gear (and probably a guild card award but who cares). You don't need to do them to max out deviant gear if you don't care about cosmetic or bragging rights shit.

You get all your money, points and items back. Some stuff may be lost like if you have gender-specific armour and change genders. If you have Lodestar or Strider DLC gear on a Gen save, sell them before transferring as they can crash the game.
