Innocent Sin/Eternal Punishment is still my favorite both in themes and gameplay (P5 is coming dangerously close to that though). They are closer to SMT games because of the demon negotiation mechanic. It's also more complex than what it is in P5 - each demon has its own perks and you can approach it with different team members for various results. There are no social links, but the characters are generally better than in 3/4. All your party members can change personas at will, but they still have various arcana that they are more 'comfortable' with (meaning that they will level up faster). Also by using skills in a certain order you can perform combination attacks. Also there is no calendar where you can do useless shit - all your actions are dedicated to solving that one mystery. No dicking around with whores in arcades

P1 is dated as fuck but still worth checking out imo

Almost every developer creates ultra high res textures and then downscales them for performance. I've never heard of a developer deliberately making a low resolution texture, that's not how it works.

It's why when some games come out on PC, they will have ultra high res texture options that the consoles don't have because those were the original textures they used in development.

As for crippling framerate, there's absolutely no way the PS4 or the Pro would struggle with 1080p textures in this game at the very least. If it can handle Horizon Zero Dawn at a locked 30, I think it can handle some higher res magazines and signs for persona.
