Sleep mode is fine, but if you run into an issue with saving, go look up the vita save fix. You change your clock to 12 hour, then go back up and replace your save backup list.dat file with an empty folder by the same name (in ux0:\user\00\savedata_backup\list.dat\).
No huge deal to do, but not everyone seems to need to do so.

I've been having this problem for the last week or so. I tried different ISOs of the game and yet it always gets stuck at 98 percent and never budges after that. Same thing for Skate 2.
I tried with and without downloading the updates, but it doesn't work. I tried running off of a Fat32 USB & NTFS External HDD, but still nothing.

Can I have an opinion or advice for this?
I have an old 3DS 9.2.0 with Gateway. Haven't been using it for a long time and as I now tried to play games, newer games don't start.

So should I try to make Gateway work or just buy a large SD and get with the custom firmware stuff.

Just updated my 3ds's emunand, and now it wont boot.

Its not a huge tragedy, as I am still on 9.2 SYSNAND and was looking to update to Luma3ds from cakes anyway.

1.0.0-0U 3ds updated to 11.0.0-0U with a pokemon sun cartridge. I'm trying to launch hbl through soundhax but I keep getting "Could not be played." whenever I try to run the exploit. There's no crash or anything. I've never used soundhax before but I don't think the success rate is supposed to be this low. I have all the necessary files on the sd card, I've tried different cards, and formatted the 3ds but that hasn't seem to made a difference. Any help?

Doesn't really matter if you have a menuhax'd sysNAND or not.
Anyway, I've interpreted quite a bit in your post that wasn't said at all.
Therefore, just download Luma3DS's latest release and copy it over.
There's a menuhax folder with a boot.3dsx. Just overwrite this one with the one in your root.

Hey /hbg/, I'm having a bit of a dilemma in here. It has to do with the old 022-2812 ban.

I had injected the empty nnid file in order to delete mine without a format, allowing me to check eshop and stuff. I added some funds since somebody gave me some eshop cards, so I put them on my 3ds in order to pass them to a future Switch. However, I can't create a new nnid because of the ban. Is there a way to save my money? Something like a system transfer?

I can't give specifics cause I can't remember but I've watched a few videos that came out recently about that and I know it's definitely a method of using the Rebug tool to change the PsID then using PSNpatch and PSninja. Google that and you should find some shit.

a9lh is cleaner and completely ditches emunand. also it is a contingency for future firmware updates and always works. old CFW like rxtools + emunand is defunct - but thats because the dev gave up on it; other old CFW has been updated to support 11.3 emunand. so far a9lh appears to have the most access to the console. it may be a hassle when an old CFW makes the switch but if you follow every step of the guide from the get go and arre successful then you get a supremely hacked console. do you need a9lh if your CFW + emunand setup works? the concept has been brought up before with the same answer. a9lh isn't required however switching to it is definitely a good idea. the perfect bootrate is great. however I believe that what you see functionally is not all a9lh has to offer. exploiting the console at boot is likely to have its benefits at some point. a9lh might even lead to a greater exploit in the future. will it be necessary in order to keep hacking this console? again no. but the exploit is superior.

So I'm having one issue with my Wii homebrew, maybe one of you folks can help me.

I used letterbomb to install homebrew on my Wii. It was pretty easy, and I did test out an emulator, and it works. Next up was me testing loading actual Wii games from a external source, for which I used a 64GB flash drive I have.

I installed the d2x cIOS installer as instructed in the guide in this thread's OP, properly formatted my USB stick, and set up USB Loader GX and WiiFlow. USB Loader GX did not detect my USB at all, but WiiFlow did detect my Wii game. I pressed play, however I was met with a black screen that would return to my Wii's home menu in a minute's time.

This is where I am right now. Has anyone else every had this issue? Everything else works without a hitch but this. Any help would be appreciated.

So I was following the guide on 3ds.guide and I followed exactly all the steps but after I put every file (fbi.cia, arm9loaderhax.bin etc.) on the sd card and re-inserted the card into the 3ds i accidentally launched settings. After exiting settings I got a black screen. I turned the 3ds off and on again but the black screen is still there.

By game patches, I mean locale emulation, codebin patching and romfs redirection. 6.6 Luma had a folder for each of these with the respective file named with the titleid (eg. /code_sections/<titleid>.bin), now it's a /titles/<titleid>/ folder where you can have code.ips, locale.txt or romfs inside it, and even a blank file with the game's name if you don't wanna memorize titleids. It's much better. But it's not even documented on Luma wiki yet because it's not on stable yet and just dead for 5+ months on the commits.

Lads, can someone direct me to a reliable resource/guide for downgrading a PS3 in preparation for CFW? Wiki is busted as shit and the PS3 section is pretty barren even when managing to get to it. I did some research beforehand and nabbed an old 60gb fat, so as far as I'm aware I'm good to go on the PS1&2 games front as well as downgrading (since it unfortunately arrived on 4.75), I'd just like something more solid than trawling google for guides that were written eons ago.

Think about it. Its specs are pretty much like that of nvidia shield, perhaps even a tad better. It could handle emulation of all consoles up to and including PSP, some like ps1 even with improvements like upped internal resolution. It could even do DS if exophase stopped being a faggot.

It could also definitely handle moonlight, which would mean seamless gamestreaming from your PC to your TV and handheld. You could just continue playing your PC games in your sofa on the TV or plop out the tablet and play in bed or whatever with only one extra device and minimum effort.

You could even port kodi to it for your TV needs. And then just pop out the tablet and continue watching in your bed if you want.

All of this ontop of its default switch library, which isn't looking half bad so far. It could be a portable and stationary emulation, game and media station in one device. The Switch could be incredible when its hacked.

He has also made DraStic, the only decent DS emulator across any platform. It's fairly accurate and runs fast as fuck, even on terrible hardware. But it's closed source and behind a paywall, and only available on Android. If he stopped being a faggot and ported that emu elsewhere/made it open source, DS could probably run on the switch and even vita desu.
