KFM and SF become dogshit on 12th. Meanwhile WL and SIN both of which are already top tier will become even stronger. Have you seen KR ladders? It's literally nothing but WL and SIN, plus the occasional BD.
If anything 12th patch will only make things worse. Not having to worry about skill points anymore is the one and only good thing the patch offers for PvP.

PvP will probably see a spike of activity, but it will die out in a heartbeat once people realize that it's still the old shit fotm shitshow(except now it's even worse).

Typically, what I do is try to force myself to commit to an activity for a certain amount of time, giving it a chance to "grip" me and if that doesn't work, I switch activities and repeat.

It should be an engaging activity though, something that stimulates the mind and not something where you can just shut your brain off.

The general is at its lowest point right now by quite a large margin. I'm working on slider changes for the upcoming discounted appearance change vouchers. My primary goals are to fix the eyes so that I stop being invisible in lobbies (thanks again for that detective work, Raineki!), and to pick shorter hair so it doesn't keep clipping with outfits. ToE is not even necessary anymore. A few quests into Moonwater you get Hujikar weapon that is better than Infernal. Infernal Soulshields and accessories are mostly shit, and except for two achievements or so, you have literally no reason to even step there.

Will you be able to play the entire time without paying actual cash? You might be able to. Depends on what you like to do and how you can turn that into making in game gold-which if you can get the hang of that, then anything you want in the cash shop you can just buy that way instead
