Finally rerolled a Legend. Never played this game but excited I can finally start after well over 100 rerolls. Also I'm on Galaxy server.

So as a new player, I'm super confused. There's a lot to know in this game, and I don't expect to know it all at once, but I'm still lost after reading the guide.
I also don't want to do anything that might be detrimental to my account in the future. Anyone got any advice for me?

build a team, do your dailies, look at the event tab, don't sell 4* players or higher, don't waste your money on scouts, get a good striker asap, focus your ressources on your striker, keep all gatekeepers until you know what you're doing.

Your priorities as a new player are:
Striker
Goalkeeper
Center Mid
Striker support
Goalkeeper support
mid support

IN THAT ORDER.

Legends are extremely rare. Wait till you hit level 30 and get your 1 free legend. Then look at it and Duke and plan your team around the two legends.
Look at the pvp tab and look at rankings. look the top people up on friends search and get a feeling for what their teams are and who are popular/strong players that regularly appear on teams.
Don't refresh scout.
Do scout ANY legends and uniques you can.
Don't invest litres or really anything into players you aren't keeping till endgame (or super long term).
Ignore Superb bosses till you have a team rating 11,000+
Do any rival matches you can (for affection chains)
Do weekly boss event matches. The daily matches are good for the 3*-4* drops. The weekend matches are good for the potential 5* boss drop.
Do dailies (Especially gold and stone matches)
do events (when possible)
