For the people who were curious in the previous thread, here are some example numbers for those who want to do a DSA cosplay.

Basically, if you want to equip the full armor, greataxe and greatshield without going over 100% (and still incur the stamina regen penalty for going over 70%), you'd need 28 Vitality. If you don't want to fatroll, you double that, at the cost of being unable to do anything but use Str weapons.

With sage +2 it starts up fast, and the fan LINGERS, so it's actually a very good way to deter the opponent. I could see a single-spell pyromancer doing well with demon scar and the fan.

Have not obtained seething chaos, but i've heard it's useful for area denial, but shame that it doesn't stick on an enemy like plasma grenades (it disappears upon impact with an enemy)

He has a ton of health, a small, extremely mobile hitbox that you can hit 3 times, max, between attacks, hugely damaging attacks that cover extremely wide areas, including several fireblasts where the solution is either block with a shield and take the chip or run and pray.

He's a tough boss.

Do you have to be mentally disabled or just not understand his moveset?

You can hit his head to do twice the damage, or hit his body, which is a big target.

His tail is the best spot; stay under him, but not behind his hind legs. His tail sweep is the 2nd deadliest attack next to godzilla.

You can punish almost all of his attacks easily, except for the charge while spitting fire.

When he attacks with either his claws or mouths, he almost ALWAYS spit fire downward. With a little spacing you can safely attack his tail meanwhile, but the fire is bigger than it looks so be wary.

His fire then laser attack is my favourite: you can easily land a fully charged r2 on his head for massive damage. The trick is to stand to the side, from a distance away, and go in once his laser starts firing AWAY from his face.

Honestly, I learned most of his patterns in the first 2 tries. After that it was repetition. It's a challenging boss fight but not impossible

Here's the quick rundown on luck

No joke, the difference between 10 luck and 40 luck is fucking nothing. If you want to make a bleed build, you just grab a weapon with natural bleed and put rouge on it or infuse with with bleed (infused weapons with innate bleed do more bleed damage). Poison is still joke-tier, don't bother building for it.

DS2 poise was perfect, but not balanced.

What they need to do is link poise destruction to weight, so that the only way to stagger heavy armor is to use heavy weapons and vice-versa. DS3 does that a bit (heavier weapon classes give more poise to their attacks), but lacks the ability to avoid stagger when not attacking.
