is there any way to make this set better? i was thinking maybe change boon to def, but most of the units who will be attacking her are going to be mages due to the current blade tome meta, and i want my healer to be able to survive a hit
Live to serve and heavenly light are pretty self explanatory and the c skill basically either has to be threaten atk/def/spd or buff atk/spd
pain is to deal with armored units that I can't 1 shot with another unit or if i get attacked by a mage/archer for some chip damage
i chose clarine because she has more rounded out defenses for the healers and pretty decent speed, and the +5 hp brings her to a good level

What exactly is the point of some of the village interactions in Echoes like giving the guy an axe or getting your reputation up?

Spring Xander is alright, he's not too different from Subaki BUT is a cavarly. With cavarly buffs he makes a pretty decent unit, and even -atk +spd Xander I got can put in alot of work.

That seems like a pretty good start, but wouldn't a +spd IV be better, so she gets doubled less? Hell, with +spd and the +spd skill, she could reach 39 and basically never get doubled.

And either way, hp+5 seems worse than res+3, especially if you're keeping her spd at 33. Having +3 res over two or more attacks is much more helpful than having +5 hp in general, even if it'd help versus archers.

I'd personally change the IV to +spd or +res, and give her Fury. Since she has LtS already, losing HP won't be an issue. And I'd personally prefer a Hone/Spur skill, but that's just me.

can staff users even learn fury? the inheritance tool isn't giving me anything but defiant and regular stat boosts
my reasoning behind hp over def/res for the a skill was that if she doesn't get doubled, having 5 more hp to tank the attack on top of the +res nature she has rather than 3 more def/res to mitigate 3 of the damage is better, but thats given she doesn't get doubled
the c skill is really optional depending on a person's playstyle and team comp so I don't feel that it is all too important in her set
unless the inherit tool is wrong about fury, i feel like if i play it right and take out the faster units with my own faster units, hp would be more beneficial for me at least,
i gave the other 3 cav healers the same exact sets but +def natures to make them not have sub-20 defense to somewhat help with bow/dagger users, and clarine seems like the best of them all due to higher hp and more speed

Isn't that a bad assumption to make, given that some of the most powerful and prevalent mages are very fast? ie, Tharja, Linde, and Nino. All of them easily get over 38 spd, mostly through skills, and so Clarine would get doubled by all of them without +spd and in some cases even with. And you're also forgetting about Olwen and Reinhardt, who have brave weapons.

Who is the best anti-mage unit in heroes? Olwen has been alright. She can take hits from mages pretty easy, but hardly does damage herself.
