I'm playing on PC with a friend, and whenever I try to summon him (we have a password on) it says 'Summoning phantom' as usual and then it disappears. A little while later, it says 'Unable to summon phantom'. I've tried restarting Dark Souls, restarting my computer, but it seems I can't summon any phantoms (I tried it with another friend and it still doesn't work).

The twin daggers got buffed major league. Got loads of extra AR which is massive for these, dex now actually works on this weapon. Used to be hollow with base stats was the most efficient on this.

also I've noticed the one handed dagger slashes are quite slow like the other daggers, but when you two hand it into dual mode the r1's are fast as fuck again

With DMB I'm hitting 500 AR on these fucking things, and they have 125 critical.

I just fucking deleted 5 people in a row, seems pretty good now and I already thought they were decent.

Oh, okay. Emit Force is cool, but I don't think it's worth sacrificing endurance. It would be fine if you chose to use it though. Cap your damage stats and ideally get Vigor to 40. Figure out stuff like attunement and the amount of vitality you need on mugenmonkey, then put as much as you want in endurance, up to 40. I think 25-30 is doable though. Just have decent health and damage and play the rest by ear I'd say.

Paired Greatswords got about a 10% damage nerf on L1s and can do about 3-4 L1s in a row now while being able to roll at 40 END instead of 5. Exile Greatsword lost about 40 AR on 60 STR, it still does a lot of damage but it's less of a huge outlier now compared to the rest of the class.

From what I checked on smaller weapons Millwood was not affected at all. Instead things like Heavy Dark Sword/Broadsword/Battle Axe got the scaling nerfs alone for some reason which is kinda annoying.

No shit, I got super excited when I saw the Pontiff only to realize seconds later that I could never use his weapons like he did. Not to mention parries on a 2h L2 instead of WAs that people rarely use. WA hyper armour is instant and almost always roll catches them after they get hit panicking with the R1 leap followup

If they get wise to that they may expect you to do the jump leap again and expect the 2 hits and then leap and go for a backstab, in which case you suddenly just hold the fucking button and R2 instead to just keep chopping them

Also, R1 > Jumping R2 is a true combo which delets people

ledges are only a problem in X, and that's just because most of them look stupid and lazy in the old maps. I main SnS, Bow, and CB, and they've never fucked up my positioning or anything like that.

underwater, on the other hand, forced me to switch to hammer for those fights because of how badly they neutered the SnS moveset in the water. i wouldn't mind them bringing underwater back, but you can't deny that the mechanics needed a lot of work.

Capcom is just lazy anyway, 3U only had underwater because the base game was Tri. They had not even bothered changing a single thing other than actually making navigating in it worse because the platform lacked a second pair of L/R buttons compared to Tri.

It wound up doing half that, but that was still more than anything else I had, plus it hits fast as shit for added damage ramping.

If my scrub-ass can use it t kill Dancer anyone can.
