imo Eternal (closest to Hearthstone other than cunny), Gwent, and Duelyst are the best alternatives. I don't care for Faeria compared to Duelyst but they're both unique. Magic Duels sucks get some friends instead, same with Duel Links although the single player is nice and it's at least an interesting twist of the TCG. I personally despise ESL worse than HS but to each their own I suppose.

You never retain attack buffs from auras. As I said, if your health is raised above the NORMAL MAXIMUM, for example, your river crocolisk is buffed to 4 health, it will lose the point when stormwind dies or is silenced. However, if river crocolisk is at 2 and you play stormwind and it becomes 3, it will keep that point if stormwind dies.

Does that example use terms you understand? Go test it in practice if you don't believe me, it's very consistent.

Gwent is a great game, but the new player experience is fucking horrible.

It's almost impossible to play that game f2p because the decks are so expensive, grinding takes so much time, and once you get past level 10 you get put up against any rank player who will crush your budget deck.

Air is the equivalent of a high-roll Lightning Storm.

I feel like Anomalus fills the niche that Sylvanas had of being a minion people would ignore. When people ignored Sylvanas you could Alexstrasza them in the face and hit them for 5 to put them at 10, and then Pyroblast next turn. With Anomalus you would put them to 7 which is Fireball range.

It's just one of the ways my old classic mage would win games. It used Counterspells and Spellbender to beat warriors and with Arcanologist I'm thinking of bringing it back.

There's something to be said for Golakka Crawler though. There's a chance that Golakka is such a high tempo swing that it's enough to reduce the amount of pirate warrior decks played in the meta.

I still think Finja package (Bluegill, Warleader) with Curator can be strong.

I just don't know what to surround it with in terms of good Beasts and Dragons, now that Azure is gone. Beasts shouldn't be too hard with Un'Goro, but with Dragons, it's pretty much just Faerie Dragon or bust.
