Is there even anything you can do in vanilla last gen destiny if you don't even own TTK? I kicked it up for shits and giggles and I couldn't even see any dailies of any kind, I remember there used to be a bunch of shit you could do for endgame gear floating on the left side of the planet select screen but its gone now.

I'm not sure if this is what you're talking about, but, this game isn't made from scratch, most of the time was spent on the new engine while the artists dished out additional resources for content pipelines. Entirety of earth map was actually put together in something like three months by a team of five people. Its earth, they already had all the cosmodrome assets and a lot of the european dead zone assets. How long do you think it takes to put together a map dude?
