Rate how retarded my idea for controller targeting is: given a list of 8 party members, you could hold down LB and use either the dpad or ABXY buttons to select people, e.g. the third from the top could be LB+X. You probably heard about Palace of the Dead. It quickly levels you up inside of the instance and lets you mess around with abilities in there, but you don't get to use everything to the extent that you would in the overworld or in regular dungeons/instances as everything dies too quickly for you to do anything fancy or get a proper rotation off. After the POTD run is complete, you're plunked back down outside the instance at your overworld level + whatever exp you get from completing the run.

Vanu is in sea of clouds, vath is in the forelands, you need to have done the quests in that zone previously to unlock them. The difficulty of the beast dailies scales with your level 50+

30 seconds after maint balmung is open until the lock kicks in. but if you rush it, you will probably pay 10 dollars for a fantasia later, and maybe 10 for a name change. I got into balmung but I ended up fantaing because my character was rushed despite having a premadee character so ultimately the transfer fee is a drop in the bucket if you plan on roleplaying

You should make multiple characters and transfer them too, all at once, so you have 8 characters and extra space for things
