God damn Midir is fun as fuck once you get his moveset down. I will concede that he does suffer from "may as well 1 shot you" though. Most of his attacks do just enough damage to make it so that most of a +10 estus will be wasted to heal it but that you can't leave it or the next hit will likely 1-shot you (or uncomfortably close to it).

From my opinion, the only bad matchups are perseverance weapons and other Ultra/Greats that have strong charge R2s. Otherwise, I'm losing very few matches against regular opponents.

Daily Reminder From nor Namco has said such a thing nor played it up.

When the Fire Fades Edition launches, a patch will cooincide with release that 2.0's the game, similar to how Dark Souls 2 and Bloodborne got big basegame patches at the end, adding new NPC summons and new stuff.

Dark Souls 3 will be the same. Expect Ledo to get added into the basegame as a friendly summon. From didn't cut his set, he's just saved for later.

They fully modelled the set, since that's what they make the icons from. It'll turn up in some shape or form and my guess is also alongside other things.

3rd and final DLC will be secret announcement either apart of the patch or the fire fades edition.

Either way, there's more to come, I bet my sweety bippy on it, otherwise they'd have launched the fire fades edition with the recent DLC release.

r1, l2 cancel out of the animation, r1, time your l2 with their swings and repeat until they're a big pile of poop. their only real answer to this is trying to rollpoke you, but rolling into L2 scoot generally ensures you end up directly behind them and able to backstab if they do

use ordinary rolls to cover ground and preserve FP, the rolling poke of a dagger actually extends out very far

if they swap to a longsword or any R1 quick swinger you get the fuck out of there and swap as well, then swap back when they do

it's really simple once you figure it out. the trick is just piecing in single hits between each scoot and never over-extending, your pressure comes from the duality of building bleed and damage atop one another

you can infuse bleed or use carthus, the bandit knife base damage is incredibly low and it scales very poorly. high int or faith buffs can bring it up to like 600ish AR, though

It's not hard to level in DaS1, DaS3, or BB.
Also in BB stats don't matter as much as they do in the Souls games. Adequately upgraded weapons, Beast Pellet and Bolt/Fire Paper.
If you got bored and stopped playing then don't get it. If BB bored you, I'm not sure what other game in the series could interest you.

They don't "mock up icons". The icons for everything in the game are literally made from renders of competed, modelled, unwrapped, textured and material setup'd assets, with then some paint overs done for any odd bits like particles.

In DeS and DaS, it wasn't hard to make a good Jack of All Trades build. In BB, I just don't see how it'd be possible, which is one of the key reasons why I'd want to respec. Fromsoft literally do not care about lore. They make it up after the fact to fit things.

The reason it's cut is because they couldn't finish tuning the rig for it yet, despite fully modelling it, so they defaulted to the backup of just regular silver knight armour.

It may still show up later with a GOTY launch patch similar to DaS2 and BB recieved with new stuff included in the base game.

Fromsoft are big reusers. I imagine much of the cut content, like the Lorian Shield etc will turn up too with new names, just like the Dancer's Bow turned back up in the DLC as the Oolacile one.

I very much doubt they'd have polypainted the high res or something, unless the artist painted over the sculpts renders. I dunno, doesn't seem like it. Usually modelling the hard part these days. Baking out some textures and shitting something out in substance painter/designer in a couple hours is easy.

They would've definitely used it if it was ready ontime for DLC. Rigging armour takes a fuckload of time to do and get right, as well as testing for clipping with various weapon and animation shit.
