In-depth spoiler Instead of staying and building a school, Tomoya instead heads back home with Tomo and Tomoyo and spend the days fucking tomoyo while raising Tomo as your daughter. Fuck, the" bad" end of Saya no Uta really Mindfucked me hard, i had already guessed what would happen before it was actually revealed in the Epilogue, if you can call it that but still.
Never thought i spent looking at a credit-roll with such a weird feeling in my head. I have to admit, though i was disgusted by the MC and Saya the writing was really good. Definitely not regret reading it.
Well i'll play through my "good" ending now and take the decision I would have chosen if i was Kouji, and call Ryouko.
My hatred towards MC and Saya didn't just disappeared after all, though i have to admit that this ending made me see them in a different light than before.

Are there any similar VN? Probably not are they? God i really enjoy Nitro+'s games.

I find this topic personally offensive because the people who are proponents of retaining honorifics are basically making a mockery of the art of translation... for the past few weeks I've been working on a certain translation project that I want to make sure is as polished as possible, and it was extremely disheartening to see this thread tonight with people outright saying that you're "ruining" the original if you so much as attempt to preserve the tone of the original instead of vomiting ro-mazi gibberish everywhere.

Honestly, it doesn't matter to me what people think they want; I'm only concerned about producing a good translation, period, and I would dare to say that any translator worth his or her salt feels the same way. So people can bloviate all they want about how honorifics are supposedly "preserving the meaning" of a language they don't understand in the first place, but at the end of the day no one is actually going to listen to them (the fact that the OP even posted this thread proves that he's not cut out to be a translator and will assuredly either drop this project posthaste or produce something not fit for human consumption).

For the few people who legitimately care about getting the "authentic" experience and aren't just turning this into a personal internet crusade, I would urge you to simply learn Japanese.

But for the people who aren't willing to put their money where their mouth is... well, too bad. The people who actually understand the language - you know, the ones translating the games - have a perspective on the matter that you lack, plain and simple, and they really do know better than you. So your only option is to simply put up with it. That's a blunt statement to make, yes, but it is also true.

It's not really a long Visual Novel, but that's perfectly fine in my opinion as it achieved, at least for me, what it was intended to achieve in that short span. You should definitely give it a read if you enjoy Nitro+ work or fucked up shit in general. Though be aware, atleast for me it showed me a lot about what kind of person i am and where my morals just stop me from certain understanding or compassion.
