Now I cant even think of proper opening. I cant recall how I did it previously and now at least one person die.

At start, two fliers packup strong melee units and using galeforce take two top stairs on the left and right, killing enemy sorc with Mire and enemy sniper. Thats clear, but what about the middle?

Another flier and Inigo can kill sniper and hero standing here and return to starting position using Galeforce, but what what about the middle anyway? I cant place anybody squishy there since enemy risen assasins have Pass skill. I cant use AoE healing staff since it would disable Vantage for three units I bring with this skill and its pretty much must have for first two rounds, due to sheer number of enemies nearby. At the same time, I absolutely MUST control middle ground, since from there my sorc can use Mire to weaken enemy boss and his Risen Chief, otherwise unkillable in close range (mentioned Chief have Counter + Vengence skills and is durable as hell).

And of course GameFAQ are all like "lol can be beaten with one unit". I want to see this bullshit.

In case anybody would wonder, Im talking about "Death's Embace" DLC map for Awakening. You guys would like it, its pretty hard and not only about "grind and then roll without strategy".

Yeah, I remember doing that one a long time ago, the layout pretty much forces you to run vantage on everything that wants to fight in the damage zone because it's one shot land, if you can lure a few things off the Heaven or Hell floor you can heal allies to deal with certain other shit. Mires are also a big help here for the early part of the map and fucking up the bosses. Galeforce also helps a lot because of how many things are going to get one shot. I think I used Nosferatu to deal with the boss things but you have to be careful how you do that since it only heals for half.
