Derelict MoMMI here, I finished my first ever attempt at scratch building an SME and was getting about 5mw per collector with 1 emitter, wish the round had gone on longer so I could find out if it was stable in the long run too.

Next time it will hopefully take me less than 2 and a half hours to get it all done.

It's a different purpose. Zapping with increase yield helps you unfuck low yield crops until it hits the efficiency fallout of like 100 zaps to gain 1 yield so you really get cranking with robust harvest instead of only getting 2-6 on robust harvest. Though that's mostly obsoleted by xenobotany machines in the back.
Use the gun to switch to mutate mode and every couple zaps re-scan it. Now hat ez-nutriment was nerfed, it's the best way to get a general increase though you can go the mutagen route just make sure to max sensors, make sure all the doors and windoors are closed to avoid a ban and don't put more than iirc 15u mutagen in the tray at a time. Keep your hatchet handy and be ready to switch to harm and kill the plant if it begins to exude plasma. Though I think you can only proc that at 20u+ doses.
