Jesus Christ Thane is such an amazing card, I was completely wrong about him. Cygames brought back midrange extremely effectively with all these super high value cards. This is the first time since Storm Haven that I feel absolutely no guilt playing a tier 1 deck.

I posted my Shadow deck above, in my opinion the reach from Cerb + Howl is pretty much necessary in the event that you can't establish a sticky board but need a finisher. Goblin Princess is a weak link in this deck, it's a nice little flood but not great value for the mana.

I only run 2 Hector, and Howl isn't too shadow expensive. You rarely use it on a completely empty board, and if your board IS empty, you probably have enough shadows for it. Death's Breath is the real shadow hog but that one's worth it too as it gives back 4 over time. Damage from hand is still really worth it in midrange in my opinion so Howl is staying in my deck.

I have a problem with running just 3 1-drops. They are most powerful when you can get them out on turn 1, and become less and less powerful as the game goes on. Using 5-6 means that you will be able to draw them in mulligan pretty frequently and take over the game from turn 1, or at least get a fat board for reaper. Only 3 means you'll see 1 drops half as much in mulligan and reaper's power level is significantly reduced. You're already running cards like Grimnir so I'd consider dropping the 1 drops or reaper.

Midrange flood has more of the value cards like Zombie Party, Goblin Princess, Thane, Hector, DB, and has some anti aggro techs like Grimnir. Some run Spartoi Sergeant as a 2 drop to build up shadows.
The more aggressive style has basically the shape of aggro shadow with Lesser Mummys, Howl and less of the value flood cards to make room for early curve.
