DotA is far from perfect, that I agree, but lmao, the map was the most stable and functional thing - with changes only on the heroes/items/towers/a few small adjustments.

I am going to ask some questions I need answers for.

I am getting really sick of losing every game to just peoples cores getting fat by feeding off supports.

Who FUCKS up enemy cores and just causes them to have a shit game? I feel like the only answer to defeating a enemy core is to pray that your own core is good.

Are there any supports who shit all over enemy cores or just hampers them so badly that they have a poor game?

I also lose a lot of games to anti mage and not sure why. I find that you can't really do anything to him by yourself and your whole team needs to concertedly GANK him in order to keep him down. But he farms so fast that multiple ganks barely fuck him up.

Help. I normally play support or offlane underlord.

Why does this game feel so dead? Is it because almost all of the big names are either gone or irrelevant, like dendi, illidan, iceiceice, xboct, rotk, akke, puppey, fear, sylar, super, fenrir, or fy? It feels like very few new players have made much of a lasting impact. New players had a moment of fame, like sumail, miracle, and w33, but they drop off and don't leave a lasting mark. Can someone give me advice on how to properly utilize iron talon? I keep hearing things like "oh it's so strong it lets almost any hero jungle" but it actually does so little damage. In a camp of 3 creeps, taking 40% off the big creep really isn't going to do much because you have 3 units to kill. It's usually more efficient to just farm lane and not take a ton of damage from neutrals.

Am I being memed? Is it only good on a few heroes that can already jungle sort of? Is it ideally something you build in a specific time frame, like after a certain minute but before mid game fights? It doesn't build into anything so it feels like such a wasted item to me. Any advice would be appreciated.

The game hasnt lost its identity because the game its still the same, adding mechanics =/= lose identity
To dota lose his identity, they need to remove denying, remove pulling, change lanes to 2 or just 1 instead of 3, remove roshan, or something like that. Shrines, talents, dont really change anything in the game outside adding stuff. You still have to destroy the ancient, you still have to lane, you still have to roam, gank, push towers, farm creeps, etc.


And finally, Dota adding good ideas from lol (spell amp, cd reduction), and adding good ideas from HotS (talent trees) and not adding bad shit (buying heroes, talent trees from lol, same gold for everybody, no denying) its good for the game, not bad

I used to have a fully stacked main jungle every 4~5 minutes as naga with illusions. That's 12 camps + 2 side camps to farm. People used to contest jungles and block camps.
