Anyone have suggestions for good budget decks this meta? So far I've made an aegis deck and thrown the lesbians into aggro sword.

This update really sucks. One class was given too many tools to the point that now doesn't have a counter. At least Daria could brick sometimes, this one is pretty much guarantee win.

Yes, by a large margin if you're actually going to use the legos and golds. The average pack rate is 9 packs for 1 lego, 3 packs for 1 gold. The prebuilts guarantee an on-rate value meanwhile you could get better, nothing, or off-meta stuff you don't want to use.

Lurching and Necroassassin are the only reliable ways to kill him, since he gets out of Tempest range pretty quickly. Other options include the usual suspects of Grimnir/Soldier/Breath/Khawy to ward him out.

It's a hard deck to workaround for shadow if you don't run those tools.

monika is really good with cannon out and so is albert. pompous princess is pretty good too since it makes cannon shoot for 2 and then you can storm for 1. floral fencer doesn't seem good in this deck since it's not a commander and you don't have enough board space to go around.

the biggest problem with the deck I'm having is that you either just don't draw the cannon, or you play it but then get hit for 6 next turn. I don't know about uriel since you pretty much want exactly one cannon and more than that will be useless.

Blood Moon is fine, Blood isn't even that good. Lightning Blast is a win more meme, no one will ever play Seraph anymore, and Nep was already cucked by Aegis existing. Zell and Sybil alone made Dragon what it is right now. On curve stats +ramp fanfare +heal is overloaded to fuck and back, and a 2 mana fucking card that enables 13+ burst from hand. Prince also is legit busted as fuck, not even Haven can banish the board fast enough without Ritual.

Today I went on Ranked for the first time. I had Shadow as my daily, so I drafted up a f2p shadow. Not pictured is Andras x2.

Made a control forest that's surprisingly effective. Optimally it wins with ogres and jungle wardens, but forest has trash draw so you usually just win when they run out of answers.

Win rate is roughly 70-80% so far at AA2. Destroys dragon and haven unless they get great draws. Shadow matchup is a bit iffy but can be done with mangrove.

Doesn't run Elf Queen because it generates no fairies.

don't know about your legendary situation but aggro is pretty affordable if you have some key golds (shadow reaper, phantom howl, wind god)

I get that Forest has been kind of a dick last expansion with the whole roach shenanigans, and even the expansions before, but does the craft as a whole really deserve this bullshit?

Why didn't they give Forest any good cards? Elf Queen is the only thing that comes close to decent, but it doesn't even matter because Forest STILL doesn't have a decent board clear or real late game threats, and we can't play anything but roach combo because we get punished by the 5 follower limit much more than any other craft.

I'm sick of it. This meta is garbage. I hate seeing any variation of Shadow because it's RNG bullshit that made me quit Hearthstone. I hate seeing Dragon because mana ramp is inherently broken and they keep getting more of it for cheap. Haven is trying to counter Shadow and Dragon. Where the fuck are the other crafts? I have no idea. Sword got garbage, Blood got garbage, Rune got garbage, too.

But none of them as bad as Forest. People are experimenting with Snakes, they're trying out the new Earth Rite cards, and Sword might find some use for Support Cannon and the frog. Forest can't play with an 8/8 do nothing, nor do they live to turn 10 to play unga. It's so fucked.

Dragon has higher damage combos with forturd even if you emissary Hydra by running no other high cost cards the fastest you can pull the combo off is whenever you have 8pp.
That only equals 10 damage assuming that the opponent played no big wards.
That isn't going to win you the game.
For the same mana as hydra+zell you can Hydra+saha and deal 13 damage+ have another 4/4 on the board.

Also, what fucking targets does Urd have outside of Forte in that deck? Again, a very rigid card, AND understatted for the mana cost so it's not like you're gonna pitch her to stem aggro to any real effect.

With Ouro/Zell you can just play Ouro without Zell over and over continually whittling down your opponent's hp and resources until they get into range or you draw Zell. And Zell has many, many targets and a 2 mana 2/2 is an infinitely more useful body than a 4 mana 3/3.

Flexibility is what makes cards/decks great. If Grimnir was just a 10 mana card, he'd be almost unplayable.

Ouro and Zell are far more flexible cards than Forte/Urd.

You're looking at the edge case where you assume you can greedily horde an evo as dragon every game. This is only the case in control matchups where no one is playing anything threatening, but versus aggro and especially sword, it is literally impossible to not use evolutions in the mid-game unless you want to die.

Forte + Urd is 10 damage without an evo. Zell without an evo can't do anything.
