There's no indication or implication whatsoever that there's even a body to retrieve. It's doubly confusing when you've never died before.

Archivefag here, I've been too busy to follow this stuff, has anything else been translated? Did rekka drop the world guide novellas like she dropped most other stuff?
I found out she translated some picture book that was included with the single cd, I bought it and I'll add the translation along with scans of the booklet in the archive as soon as it ships.
Is there anything else I'm missing? I know the official guide will have more novellas but I have that one preordered already

Taro was either not involved or only in a small capacity. Plus the main character is bland garbage.

It isn't all bad, though, and it has some scenes that I tihnk are integral to the series. Its biggest flaw is having to stand in Drakengard's shadow.

If it was released under a different title with renamed characters and no connection to the series, I think it would be a cult classic.

Well, finally pulled the trigger and got ending E.

I'm kind of torn, on one hand I really loved the credits boss and I teared up a bit when I remembered that interview where the composer said there was a track that sounded like it had a choir, but it was actually him yoko and everyone at platinumgames. And I don't mind implied maybe happy endings.

On the other hand the actual cutscene didn't really hit me as hard as C or D, unless someone can explain something that went over my head I don't really get how the pods had the power to rebuild everything, especially since it looked like they were also carrying machine parts.

Let me see if I have this correct. There are two versions of the same game: Nier Replicant for the PS3, released only in Japan, and Nier Gestalt, for the Xbox in Japan and both systems in the rest of the world. Both games are virtually identical, except that the main character is a bishounen onii-chan figure in former, whereas he's a middle aged father figure in the latter. Also, some of the dates are different. Is that correct?

So my questions are: for what purpose? Does the protagonist have the same voice actor in both versions? Why did they go with the adult version for the worldwide release, rather than the young version? Wouldn't it make sense to adapt the Japanese PS3 version for the rest of the world, since no one in Japan gives a shit about the Xbox version?

is there anyway i can use cheat engine or a trainer to delevel myself back to level 1?

Is lock on disabled for the Eve fight at the end of A? I don't mean the targeting feature as I am playing on hard but it seems like even when attacking in his direction 80% or more of my attacks would just slightly go off to the side of him and miss whereas for the most part the game normally recongnises who are attacking and provides a little directional assistance to connect the hits. Even after perfect evades a lot of the counters would miss him too.

The leveling system is there because the game is a jrpg disguised as a platinum game. Leveling up isn't balanced like a pure action game nor are the different kinds of chips. All the difficulty levels are effectively memes as well.

A2 is basically unchained in powerlevel, and E types are different in that they usually just quickly kill their target. E types have a lot more info about who they're executing, and different personalities than actual battle types. 2B is an anomaly in that she can crush battle types and most other enemies.

YoRHa wouldn't let 9S work on his own, it defeats the entire purpose of the arrangement with 2B and 21O if they gave him the breathing room to do what he wants for extended periods of time. They gave him those memories since that's how S units usually operate, so he wouldn't suspect anything.

Keep at it, dude. It took me hours. If it helps, I finally got him to sell the weapons in Route C. Chapter 13, I think. You have to make sure he's already changing locations from just the Desert Camp by talking to him once. Then after that, just keep transporting to different areas, until he's wandering around in front of the camp area.

#10: What the model letters mean!

Now I was debating putting this out as its own article, but I eventally decided it fit here. Okay, here we go, basic background knowledge time! All YoRHa androids are refered to with a single letter, that being their model classification. Individual androids within each class are practically identical, in both personality and functionality since they all are made from the same mold.

#9: Model "A" stands for "Android"

These androids are the original models of YoRHa androids before they decided to split off into different models. They have no personality at all, instead being completely subservient to "command" and are severly weaker than all other YoRHa models due to their age.

#8: Model "B" stands for "Battle"

These androids are the most powerful weapon at YoRHa's disposal. Containing advanced fusion reators they have vast multiples of power than any other androids. Due to this they have an uncontrolably agressive personality, perfering to demolish everything in their path. If YoRHa deploys Model Bs to any location, it will be destroyed.

#7: Model "S" stands for "Speed"

These androids are stripped down to the bare minimum that allows them to run fast. Now, the picture being painted before our eyes of YoRHa is that of an organisation that is completely automated, with absolutely no regard for Android life, and naturally such an organisation needs an intelligent supervisor to make sure it doesn't go off the rails (Not that it hasn't already!). Okay, is it me or does anyone else find it weird that of all places, YoRHa has a complete monopoly on communications with humans. I mean, if they exist shouldn't they be constantly communicating with us? We know there used to be a thing called the "internet", and it's not likely that by absconding to the moon that humans would suddenly not want to use that. Also, it's highly suspect that there was a period of a THOUSAND years where every single android thought that humans were extinct before YoRHa literally came out of nowhere claiming that they were on the moon, and had been for all of those thousand years. Surely someone should have uncovered the humans on the moon sometime then, I mean I'm not sure if you all remember that, but we were desperately searching for something, anything, that would give our lives purpose again, and I find it incredibly suspect that not a single android decided to look to the moon, which humans have been able to travel to since before recorded history.

Here's the kicker. One of our readers uncovered construction and launch plans for a rocket that could easily make it to the moon, and on that rocket was planned to be a supercomputer, a high powered antenna and a fusion reactor. Everything you need to setup a autonomous server on the moon to fake human communications.

There is only one conclusion. It is obvious that humans have been extinct ever since we first thought so before YoRHa existed. Th a group of androids made YoRHa in order to spread false hope amongst androids that humans were still alive, to raise all of our morale and provide hope.

We are not sure entirely how this fits into the Commander being a human, but the evidence fits both conclusions. However the evidence is sooooo much more conclusive for this one, hence why it has a higher place on the list.

You can't remove the virus only temporary stall it until it eventually evolves. This is shown in A2's history files at the resistance camp. 2B was still infected after 9S initially saved her. 9S never had it since he desynced with the server until he replaced his arm in the tower.
