I'm not sure why but i blew my load picking last night and got Camilla, Lucina, and Xander Easter Versions. What's the deal with them in terms of usefulness?

Camilla is a flyer with casting so I rekon she'll be at minimum a great flyer meme addition. Should I invest in giving her a better weapon and skills or are her stats terrible? Same question for Lucina and Xander. Are their stats good enough to warrant inheriting weapons and skills?

Blarblade barely takes Lucina just under Linde, and with IV stat differences, it's hard to argue that +6 is, well... +6 in Linde's favor.

Then again, the operative difference here is, if you don't have Linde, now's your chance to get a slightly lesser version of her, which still outdoes a decent number of other units.

Good luck convincing the others and not getting called a faggot when they've already mathed things out. They'll probably just use her for skill inheritance anyway.

My Palla for the Flying Meme and the Flying Gauntlet is complete.

All I actually need to do is get a Wo Dao+. I have everything else Well, Darting Blow 3 but not the superior Swift Sparrow 2 in this case. Battle tested. I can prove it.

On offense, with a Hinoka to buff her (+6Atk/Spd), this Palla kills 100/118 units. Loses to only 4 units (including Abel and Takumi) WITHOUT Moonbow ready to go. With Moonbow on deck, it's 111 wins and only 3 losses. She only gets better the more fliers she has on her team, with a likely max possible 112 wins (111 without Moonbow procced) and ZERO losses whatsoever from Caeda's Fortify buff (only a single loss from Sully with just Minerva's Ward Fliers). Her given Ruby Sword+ is nearly as good with 77 wins and only 8 losses.

It's a seriously good Palla, I'm quite pleased.

I'm not crazy about Lucina as a red and definitely not as a blue. But her Swift Sparrow is exceedingly nice on many of my units and certainly better than on her. I can look at the images all I like, but she's best used for her Swift Sparrow 2, imo.

As to whether I'll actually burn a unit I have ONLY ONE of, though, that remains to be see. But 2 Buncinas? Oh Hell, yeah, straight to Palla or Minerva. Maybe even Michalis. Big time.

Well when the skill you're given is a Threaten, it's natural to assume you're going to be positioning them take advantage of it. I do agree it's unrealistic as ranged units cannot be within Threaten Def range without exposing yourself, and Rebecca does needs it for the kill on Linde, though Hone Atk 3 from Olivia does the trick for that.

Swordbreaker can be used to check other fast sword users, killing them, easily. Now he has access to shit like Fury, LaD, and *blow, making him very scary.

I found after experimenting with a 4 dragon team that it's extremely difficult to survive in Arena right now with 4 essentially melee (I don't count ranged counterattacks). In single-player content it's a blast. Just use YoungTiki, Nowi, Ninian, and any other dragon, even Fae would work. Have Ninian and one other dragon with Fortify Dragons and you're set.

However in Arena I switched out the final dragon with a green tome, because characters like Linde will be the bane of your existence.

My current setup is Nowi, YoungTiki, Ninian, and Nino. Nowi is my sword/red killer, YoungTiki is my dedicated Green destroyer, Ninian dances, and Nino rapes anything blue.

Not that anon, but even with Triangle Adept and the raven tome, she's still taking x1.1 damage from all bow users. And considering that she's rather slow, she's likely getting doubled unless she has +spd, and even that gets her doubled by neutral Takumi.

The best ninja and archer killer would probably be a Merric with the raven tome. At least he wouldn't get doubled and take x1.1 damage.

Isn't Fury literally perfect for a dancer like Azura or Ninian? Since you likely won't be wanting to use them to initiate combat or take multiple hits, aren't you basically giving them a free +12 stats and the ability to more likely tank/get a kill when absolutely needed in a crunch situation without really having to suffer the penalty of HP loss as often as a regular unit would?

Hell, testing out my Ninian in the battle simulator, she goes from 8 wins and 6 losses when being attacked to 16 wins and 3 losses with Fury 3 equipped.

TA3 helps with Falchion users, sure, but with Fury 3 she's able to tank a hit from all of them (bar a +Atk Lucina) and she also doesn't become extremely vulnerable to all greens. In fact, the only three that can kill her at full HP outright when she has Fury 3 are Barst, Julia, and Raven.

I was about to go straight into giving her TA, but when I actually sat down to work through it Fury seems to be an infinitely better option. Now the only question to balance out is if it's worth it to use my only available Fury 3 on her rather than one of my main combat units like Eirika or Nino. If I had a free Death Blow 3 it wouldn't even be a question as that's an absolutely perfect fit for my +Spd Nino.

You only have one Hinata.
Ninian is the worst dancer of the three so far.
Fury is a combat skill first and an extra points skill second (because the extra points may disappear in just a few weeks and even if they don;t you're getting half the benefit out of the skill anyway).
Also, if Ninian were ever to enter combat, she would need triangle adept and even then she'd still probably get bopped by nearly everything.

- She can tank hits that my Olivia couldn't, which would only be amplified by Fury.
- She does direct damage against Res rather than Def, which makes her a fantastic tank buster (or a solid damage-dealer of just about anything that's popular in Arena and isn't a mage)
- Azura's likely a better dancer from an overall standpoint, but Ninian fills a particular niche in my team in tight situations that Azura doesn't. She has the defensive stats to take a hit, and dealing damage against Res means she can offer me something different than my two 1-range physical units

But I actually ran the calculations for this, and it's the exact opposite.

With Fury, she tanks a hit from all of the Falchion users anyways. She can only be one-rounded by two mediocre Brave Axe users and Julia, which of course Julia's going to wreck her no matter what given the green tome/dragon effectiveness combo. With Triangle Adept, she also tanks those same reds and takes less damage in the process, but she can now be one-rounded by a full 14 green units (many common Arena units) as well as Linde. She can also only kill 10 enemies compared to the 16 she can kill with Fury 3.

It's all about situational usage, and which skill gives me the best opportunity given that I expect a Dancer to only have to endure a single round of combat if needed.

She can't have triangle adept baked into her weapon, so she's immediately worse than the other two.
The whole point of fielding a dancer isn't to have them enter combat like a normal unit and dance on the side, it's to assist 1 specific unit and have the dancer cover and eliminate that unit's weaknesses while surviving red bodyblocks.
If you're using a dancer without having them dance for and cover a hard carry unit, any talk of efficiency and what's better is already out the window.

Fury Sapphire Lance+ Azura one shots almost all fury physical reds if they attack into her and shrugs off their damage.
Fury Ruby Sword+ Olivia one shots almost all fury physical greens if they attack into her and shrugs off their damage. She also survives being initiated against by every fury red unit.
Fury (no TA) Ninian misses one shots on several fury physical reds (lucina and ryoma are big ones) and takes massive damage in return.

In the red sword, fury, and one-shot meta, (the current meta) she is the worst dancer.
