He shoots, and always ends up wounding duran, and my GK always (100% of the time no exaggeration) then passes to the woudned player. Choi then immediately kills him and leaves GK fully unprotected.

The problem with nerfing Metatron is that while she's good at everything, she's not a game breaker with any particular mechanic.

There are plenty of other characters who debuff HP and reflex, plenty who heal HP and ATB, plenty who damage the enemy ATB or spirit gauge. And most of them do it better.

The only issue is that Meta does ALL of those things, even if she isn't best at any of them. Another small stat nerf (which would be what, like the third time? Fourth?) isn't going to change shit. Unless Meta is so weak she literally CANNOT hold the ball she'll never leave CM, and even then she's still a teamwide revive and heal.

Taking her core mechanics away and reworking her would make all the people who bought her riot.

The only real course BB can take is to give other elements viable CMs of their own so she isn't as mandatory. And they've been doing that. The main reason you haven't seen people using CMs other than Meta is they already invested in Meta.

Unless you're a turbowhale, you probably have better things to do with your resources than spending them on a position you already have a viable player in.

If BB gave out another 160 transfer ticket, or maybe just did an open 1/1 recall on any player, I bet you'd see a reasonable number of Metas fade away. Not a ton, but a few.
