Raids armour has two legitimate uses in the game, anyone that uses them outside of those two scenarios are almost always retards. Yesterday I saw a guy with 120 invention using full (Regular) primeval equipment (which means it can't be augmented) to dps in raids because he "didnt trust the team"

Join one of the pve oops I mean pvm-oriented fcs that do raids such as Raid Fc and create your own group. Normally the fcs are full of spergs interested in doing raids but everyone is too beta to step up and make a group. Don't ever mention your own kc and just ensure people are able to do the required roles. Watch a guide or two and do literally any of the 'easy' roles (IE not base tank) and no one's going to suspect a thing unless you're using trash tier equipment

The 'raid fc is bad' meme comes from the fact that the average runegame player is mentally deficient and still doesn't know how EOC works. Most players in the fc are generally far from being good, but as long as you're just a little bit selective you should be able to consistently get slow but safe kills which probably is what you want if you're only after some of the raid armour pieces
