They had some issues, but giving prot warriors Gladiator and Defensive and Fury/Arms Berserker and Battle would be nice.
Prot Warrior off-tank would be able to go Glad stance and dps until he has to tank swap or pick something up, Battle stance would be the go-to for Arms/Fury warrs when they have to soak something and don't want to get btfo.

Really the only times you ever switched stances was either to disarm some guy in PvP or to equip your shield and play a last-ditch tank when all the other tanks were dead. I was Arms in defensive stance tanking when my shit guild got our first Vaeleaezezetraz kill, that was neat
