Indeed, a lot of people think that the three survivors were changed by HICKSHON but I think it's important to note all of them carry heavy regrets that come from death- after all, one of the only unchanging truths is that everyone dies.

Although Tenko was exhausting as a person to Himiko, the fact that Himiko is very passionate about her magic shows does show that she's not incapable of understanding Tenko yet she retreats into her laziness as an excuse until Tenko's death happens and Ouma calls her out for it.

Even when you compare Maki and Kaito it doesn't look at first like they have much in common, but she's at heart someone who does care for others and who wants to protect her friends, and sadly it was only when she saw Kaito being executed that she finally realized the truth she was looking away from.

Kaito was doomed either way though. As for Kaede, I agree that Kaito and Tenko were much better than her but in the end someone always has to look that much worse to start the killing game and her monologue where she expresses worry about the Exisals even if the mastermind is outed is a pretty valid concern, regardless of whether they're actual criminals or just normies in reality TV.

Her major failing was in being rash and lying, but she does redeem herself somewhat by not using the first motive to get out especially knowing that going to the trial was essentially dooming herself.

Tulpaman is such a fun character to me because he's so messed up but he's also kind of moe. The difference between the two is so hilarious that he's still one of my top favorites of the male cast and I love his lectures.

Great, an excuse to rant about my autistic love for Tsumugi!

I wasn't too excited for Tsumugi at the start. The fact that she's the SHSL Cosplayer seemed interesting but eh, didn't get my gears going. I mean, we all figured she was a killer, so she didn't really seem more than that. I was more interested in Iruma and Ouma.

Demo comes. Surrounded by a wacky cast full of personality, her kinda lack of it got me REALLY interested. She was far too plain for Danganronpa, and since Kodaka is a hack I was on guard. I watched her intro a few more times and... surprisingly related to her more than anyone. To me, she seemed like a teenage girl that was very passionate about the things she loved - that happened to be anime, vidya, etc - and her love wasn't viewed as a joke like Hifumi. It wasn't mocked. She was presented as a perfectly functioning member of society despite her obsessions, which I really liked. Saw a lot of myself in her. I also like her shout outs, it's always fun seeing the ones I recognize.

Come the game. HELL was I right something was wrong with her. She faded into the background far too well. I still thought she was cute and interesting, even if everyone else was hogging the spotlight. I waited for her to get her turn. Realized at about C4 she HAD to be the MM, since I figured C5 would be The Ouma Show. I was interested in all of the other characters too, but Tsumugi was the most fun to theorize about because of how ordinary she was. I thought that HAD to be deliberate. Man, I made so many fuckin' stupid theories about Mugi when watching Juice's videos.

C6 comes. My number one prediction is correct. Finally, a time for my girl to shine. And remember when I said how relatable she was, how comforting that is - how she's able to hold her own in a killing game and she's just like us? Well lmao she really is just like us, more than I thought. I loved that twist, how she's just a dr fangirl like us. I love meta shit. But somehow, even in MM mode, I still related to her a tad. Mugi was just a girl who loved her vidya, and took her love too far. That's all. I like how simple she really was behind all of that grandeur at the end - she wasn't lying when she said she was plain - and in a cast full of special people the fact that she isn't makes her the oddest one of all. But she's still entertaining during C6; it's really HER chapter to drop plot twists and entertain/generate salt with her HICKSHON. Even if Kiibo ended up starring near the end, it's all thanks to her that was possible. Also love that sick shot of her during her 'execution' with junko, looked great.

Then there's the unanswered questions. GOD I love those. I loooove stupid theories, so the amount of theory potential is fantastic to me. What was she thinking during the game? Did she volunteer or was part of the staff? If she was part of the staff, why did she join? Why does she love DR so much? Does she have any connection to Amami? If so, how? Did she get her memories back during her execution? Stuff like that.

Me liking her may be shit taste but I just really really like her okay, i don't even care if my reasons are shit. When i'm not sick maybe i'll write an 100 page thesis on why Mugi is very deep.

tl;dr: i really like characters that have a lot of nothing answered about them and characters that are plain when everybody else is crazy, so tsumugi is like a dream come true. also i think girls with glasses are very cute

We still haven't solved the mystery of the the iron maiden murder.
The case of the museum of torture instruments.
In the back garden of the museum, there is a hill in the middle.
Standing on top of the hill is an Iron Maiden. The Iron maiden's inside is wet because of the snow, there are no signs of blood. The spikes of the maiden are rounded and of no danger. The metal inside is black. One odd part of maiden is the head portion is missing, with traces that looks like a burner was used to detatch it.
On the bottom of the hill to the left is a shed for storage, earlier that day a fire was reported and someone who works for the university related to that museum was found dead by burns.
The shed seems to be a locked room, before the fire happened. The windows are cracked open, it's determined that windows broke during the fire. There are no footprints in the snow leading into it, meaning he entered before yesterday maybe, the victim had the key to the door of the shed which was locked. There were matches and cigarettes found on him making investigators determine an improperly extinguished flame caused the fire. The fire's origin was determined to be originated around the pillow area where the cigarettes and matches were.
Could the Iron maiden have anything to do with this death?

ahhh i see, i got it, IMO, that most of the time isn't something good when you stop to think about it, it means the character lacks canonically, just like amami does. Ouma also tries to reach high but without everything that was needed to sustain his character. When you need to rely on a 150 thesis page wrote by a fan that definitely isn't a good sign.It means the character is incomplete

The time of death was 1pm on that day, The suspect was at work then. His shift started at 9AM until 5PM, he had a 30 minute break at 11 AM and at 2 PM. His birthday is 8/30.
Our detective so far thinks the culprit used some sort of timed fire trick.
Could the Iron maiden have anything to do with this?
How would you go about timing a projectile flame within an iron maiden?
Or is the maiden unrelated to this case after all?


The Iron maiden that sits on top of the hill like a demonic icon was not there before that day.
It was snowing until that very morning. Would that cover any footprints if the culprit acted during nightime?
However the crime cannot have been commited at night because the fire was reported at 1 pm the day of the case. Mizuiyama goes back from the shed to the small hill. A bit higher from eyesight you can see the silhouette of the iron maiden and behind it the museum.

It seems our detective has reached the answerHow the murder was carried out; Mizuiyama begins drawing out a composition of the structure for the building within her head.
