A lot of the new stuff looked weird, but i read it rather quickly, so i probably missed it.

So far saw moon+baphamet and snakes, but it looked clunky.Death mask looked like a cool insulation against burst while you set yourself up in vengence, but I feel like with 3 copies it is probably pretty inconstant.

As Dragon you're fucked as soon as it hits the table. In general, the slow ramp decks can't pressure the hag enough to make her use her removal, so when you do ramp and start dropping your big followers, they just get themised and banished every single time.

And then Aegis evolve kills off your non-Bahamut big follower and you lost.

You need Dragoon for a finisher. Ramp Dragon often end up with 7/8 card on it's hand because you can only play 1 card per turn.

Also, Saha Luci isn't good anymore. I just use Israfil for board clear and Zeus for single target.

As-is, you can be a spicy memer. Play castle on curve, gawain ramp your leonidas to get him out t7/8. You can then otomemer for 17 face, 19 with evo. If you have a cd and an evo to spare, you can play swordsman to kill a ward and OTK when otomemer pops it.

So I'm not sure if this is intended behavior, but when Luminous Mage is played with Support Canon while there is an enemy in play then it won't trigger support canon twice if the enemy dies. In other words, it won't hit face. However, if there's still an enemy in play or if there aren't any in the beginning then support canon will go off twice.

That just isn't true. Dragon still loses to D Shift and other combo decks, and it went from having a 50/50 with Haven to autolosing to it.
All dragon really got is smoothed out ramp and anti-aggro. If you're playing a scumbag aggro deck (i.e ends at 5), try something else.

Dragon pretty much has everything now.

Forest was pretty overloaded too, but will of the Forest is no where near as good as breath of the salamander and needs to combo to do insane damage with Roach or silver bolt.
Dragon can just plop down Forte and boom over 1/3rd of your life is gone.

So to recap the first day of this expansion

>Sibyl is really good for ramping up

>Ramp Dragon basically heals more than Elana at this point

>Sibyl, Irasfil, Ouroburus, Lucifer, Fervor and Eggs healing makes the aggro match ups trivial and one sided

>Midrange/Aggro Shadow got amazing an amazing finisher with Eachtar

>Blood Snakes also is one sided versus many decks, Blood Moon is really good

>Forest, Sword and Haven seem to be the least exciting classes right now, everyone is testing other shit

>Haven Aegis seems to be a great match up versus Ramp Dragon

TLDR;

If you hate Daria/Sword, play ramp, you will win 9 of 10 times, your healing is absurd.

If you want to prey on ramp, Haven and Dshift seems like great options

Blood and Shadow are balanced and really good decks all around, truly midrange and not """"""""mirdrange"""""" sword type

If you don't have many vials, probably your best options are Midrange Shadow, Sword, Daria and pray you don't run into Dragons or Havens.

Well from my experience on Masters today, basically versus Sword I drop Rahab on t3 (after ramping) and my opponent either sacks all their early game or gets denied 5 damage and proceeds to get cleared anyway the next turn.

Aggro/Midrange Sword is really fucked against Dragon this time, stalling till turn 9 albert does jackshit because your opponent will be over 10 always because of the healing

Oro is unique because he is hard to banish. They need to ramp something with less than 3 attack into Oro and those card can easily be cleared with Oro fanfare. If they use an evo to ramp Oro then it is dead. You can also drop Israfil/Poly Roar and they will concede. Just drop a big minion every turn and it will stall their Aegis forever

Every Haven deck I've played against today has had Acolyte's Light to deal with Ouroboros, or even just suicided an evolved Snake Priestess into Blackened.
They can also easily run a bunch of cheap wards that won't die to Salamander, and can easily deal with the Ramp style of dropping singular big guys every turn.

That wasn't my experience and it looks like it wasn't your experience either, but that's how the numbers break down.

With how some of the other anons are able to pull in more legos than the calculated average, I'd say that luck and favorable probability plays a role in their pulls.
