Threadly reminder...

Ringed Knight Paired Greatswords is every single thing wrong with this game thrown into one moveset. Jesus Christ... they are by far the most obnoxious thing to fight against.

It's not surprising that every jackass now flocks to the weapon. Flashy attacks, outrageous damage combos, stupid hyper armor, huge hit box, ranged attack.

They put so much effort into this particular paired weapon, and then you have things like the Splitleaf Greatsword that has nothing unique outside of the weapon art. Same goes for the fat humanity guy Curved Greatsword. Nothing special but weapon arts.

Why is it acceptable to be this fucking lazy and uncreative. I've never gotten an "anime" feeling from the series before this game's 2 DLC's, but boy, did they sure go all the way with it now.

Crucifix of the mad king is pretty good, it scales well with dark damage and it's also buffable! dark blade is 85*(spellbuff) which is p good considering you're going to be pumping faith to get use out of this thing

How do I dodge Midir's upper left leg during the "fire+run+lunge" attack right at the beginning of the fight? I roll around his claws but then i am under him and his leg magically hits me. It is a guaranteed -1 estus and -damage.

boys, I'm scared of fully upgrading my weapons, because I switch so often and I know there's only a limited amount of slabs per playthrough.
not really a huge deal for PvE, but the thing is, if I eventually wanna do PvP I'd imagine I'd have to pick a more viable weapon and upgrade that, but I can't if I'm out of slabs.

So my question is, have people figured out a way to get more slabs or +10 weps somehow without getting banned? I remember at launch week people got an easy ban by just spawning in slabs.

Hopefully the next game will go light on the PvP like Bloodborne did, I feel like PvP in Souls has gotten to the point where it's detrimental to the games as single-player ARPGs. I find it hard to convey the frustration that I feel that FROM added a new covenant with rewards that are only for online use.

I actually find that offline/solo, the first phase is ezpz no damage, then his second and third phases are more difficult. But online with coop buddies his first phase is actually the hardest since he is way less predictable and will suddenly switch targets with telegraphing an attack. then his second and third phase is actually way easier because he doesn't seem to attack as often. You can stunlock the shit out of his second phase in particular.

Solo from beginning to end.
Demon's has the most varied kinds of bosses/fights (doesn't make them good).
1 and 2 are all over the place in quality, but the good fights in each are really good.
BB has some of my favorites in general, though there's plenty of shitty ones in there as well.
3 has the best presentation, I think. Even most of the weaker bosses still look great.

From what I've read there are some other interactions such as if you join the Spear of the Church (Don't know if by invading once or actually getting the item that the dragon drops) and some other shit.

So, in the end, if you don't go further than touching the orb, you would be able to speak to her once more at the door and then, be invaded.

If we're being serious here, I don't think either of them did anything resembling a "decent" job if we're linking them back to 1.
I wouldn't doubt it's Bandai that wanted that "2" and that "3", both of which serve no purpose.

If you roll into the direction of his attack it will miss you, you are doing something wrong. His vertical strikes need to be dodged to the left or right, if you dodge forward or back the cloak will hit you. His horizontal spins you dodge into. Even the fuckhuge spins he telegraphs in the last phase can be dodged by rolling into the direction he is spinning.

The real problem is stamina and FP, you eat up a chunk of both just hunkering down, so you need at least some investment in Attunement and a bunch of Endurance on top of stamina regen and good management (yes, I know, trivial in Roll Souls 3, but point stands).

you can definitely roll into every one of his horizontal attacks and make it through. he does his regular spins, usually on after another alternating directions. he also has one where he windups up a bit more, lunges forward and does a really big spin in his later phases but again you can roll into the direction it comes from and he should dash past you and miss.
