Pure strength and quality are both really high damage right now. Dex can't compete in PvE unless there's some hot broken dex weapon I'm missing out on.

I was using the regular old greatsword with 60 str for most of the DLC. Got the paired UGS and went 40/40 quality with no regrets. Those things shit out damage.

If you very high souls level, quality, if not you go heavy. It's more important to level up faith for DMB/LB than dex, you should aim to 66 str/60 fth. Then you can start leveling dex

RKSS is on a hill just to the right of the Street shortcut doorway. Birch White Bow is on a hill with three cleric fucks and can be found by hugging the left wall after you enter. Church Guardian Shiv, I.e. infinite throwing knives feat. tracking can be found in a semi-submerged building surrounded by cleric fucks and locusts not far from the Dragonslayer armor. Wolf Ring +3 is obtained after killing Alva when he invades.

Took me like 6 tries to kill this guy, i'm a bit disappointed to be honest. I killed the demons and gael first try, and while this guy was very visually impressive he is relatively simple. I had way more trouble with Friede and Nameless King, actually, even Pontiff took me considerably longer but maybe that can just be chalked to not having played a souls game in a long time.

Maybe i'm just burned and fatigued from 3 dark souls games but this DLC didn't really make much of an impact for me, the most i got out of it were the twin UGS, those are some fun weapons.

At least it was better than Ashes of Ariandel.

One of the best weapons in the game desu. On the R1/R2 it's the katana moveset, so of course it's God tier. The L1 spam is great with Carthus Rouge for bleeding bosses. The L2 does a ton of damage, breaks shields, breaks poise, and grants you poise as soon as you use it. It's worth using even with no mana. L2->L1 spam will kill most enemies in the game with zero effort.

Why do people go to NG+3 and beyond? All +2 rings are available in NG+2 (and now even those are made obsolete thanks to TRC's +3 rings).

And when people do go to NG+3 and higher, why do they beg for phantoms to help them in bosses? It seems everyone are struggling with NG+4 Midir or something.

If its replayability they're after, why not just make a new character and a new build?

someone explain what rings to wear as a hexer in ds2 PvE. This is my first playthrough. I'm level 97 and am wearing the ring of binding, clear bluestone ring+2, northern ritual band +1 and southern ritual band.
Also do I just spam dark orbs and dark hail instead of the resonant shit? I looked up resonant shit and everyone needs to have been shitting on those spells since 2014.

I don't have friends.

My str build has 3 SS, 4 GS, 6 UGS, 2 CGS, 5 axes, 4 GA, 3 Hammers, 4 GH, 2 fists, 3 spears, 5 halberds, a greatbow and 2 crossbows and 3 shields.
That is a lot of NGs considering that I did some of them before the DLC and the fact some of the weapons stop being usable because patches and you need to pick new ones or new good ones appear.

Jesus christ, stretch out gesture with the desert sorceress skirt on really doesn't leave much to the imagination.
