As a raider I wasn't expecting much from this patch in terms of content to be honest. The mythic+ update is very nice I think, and that's about pretty much all I care about it, the rest of the stuff are catchup mechanics for alts and people returning to the game.

Do you guys agree with the opinion that DPS and healers have the hardest job in this game? I've been tanking since the beginning of the xpac, and for the most part, its been pretty fucking easy. The only time I ever really got challenged was Heroic Ursoc, but I don't really raid much at all to begin with, so that might explain why tanking feels easy.

I'm shit at it and almost only play survival and am bad at planning my movement, but patient sniper+trick shot is a pretty hard spec to do great at in raids, but at the end of the day, bm and SV both have better single target assuming similar artifact levels with less effort; and so do a lot of other non-hunter specs
I kinda wish patient sniper piercing shot were stronger
that said though, our raid's mm hunter is insanely good and always parses above 90 with no trueshot boots (my main is actually a healer, but I really enjoy my hunter alt)
it also feels really bad to know that you can't actually help your raid with adds if you really want to maximize your dps on some fights because of the true aim talent that lowers your damage for swapping targets
you'll notice the top parses on augur and krosus for MM take true aim and ignore adds

and meme-spec (explosive shot+piercing) is the most rewarding batshit high dps mobile aoe destroyer on the planet and explosive shot and piercing shot are tons of fun
mm absolutely destroys M+ and aoe stuff at least so it's got some stuff going on

1.) Remove this retarded ilvl scaling change immediately.
2.) Prydaz and Sephuz can only drop for DPS specs in PvP content.
3.) Titanforging maximum is +20 ilvls now.
4.) Playing while in a group of at least 3 and also in close proximity now awards 50% more Artifact Power, Order Hall Resources, and Marks of Honor.

Tbh I really love the concept of whittling down the Legion bit by bit and slowly pushing forward through the Broken Shore until we can break into the Tomb and assault it. I hope a lot of future expansions and raids are like this. It actually somewhat gives off the feeling that we're in a war and making progress in the way that you normally advance your lines in warfare.

For all the old zones from previous expansions, I've got a pretty good mental image of how they're laid out. in dungeons: mana doesn't matter so don't bother with holy light unless it's like a tyrannical M+ boss or you know you'll be in combat for a whiles

first thing to know about heavy aoe heals is to be liberal with cooldowns, you have holy avenger, deliverance, wings, and AM; you could use one or 2 on like each pull and never run out

on aoe: virtue+cd then holy shock and LoTD then spam flash of light or w/e other spells you might want to use although flash of light is kind of the bread and butter
also they removed the cd on judgement of light consumptions, so that might be better in dungeons now

also as a general holy pally thing the closer you are to using holy shock on cd, the better your throughput will be
