Why would you want bonus rolls when Tomb of sargeras isn't out yet and nighthold has been out for months? You should've gotten most of the drastically performance increasing gear from nighthold. Having a chance to get more artifact power is actually the superior choice right now if you're a hardcore/above casual. The amount of artifact power needed is MASSIVE, you need 79.7 trillion AP to get all 101 traits, and artifact knowledge takes a while to get up.

Except it's not.

Vanilla PvP was fun. No matter how unbalanced or fucked up it was at the times, it was fun. Optimizing gear for PvP was a thing, as were professions.

Just being able to use my engineering trinkets and bombs in PvP was pretty big deal. Plus, AB and WSG are still the best BGs.

I had 2 r14 characters and not once did I feel like it was a fucking chore or something I had to do - it was just fun.

I find it overall fun though, and I like aoe stealth in M+

ww is really slow unless you've made a haste set for mark of the crane in dungeons, but I really like the idea of planning it out and it's fun for a bit, but I'm not sure I'd main it

and havoc is a meme, but you do 3M dps for the first 30s of the fight, bring darkness, and have great st and aoe damage, but the rotation is basically 112112 while pressing spenders that aren't 2 as they light up

I'd also at least recommend looking into survival hunter, it's surprsingly fun and hipster while doing good dps, but occasionally butchery pulls threat on aoe though, like it's the only class where you have to conciously hold back on adds in raids and M+ other than like ret pally during crusade

on my 901 equipped resto/ele it was trivial but I had to run away from a big group once
on my 885 sv hunter alt, I had a little trouble (I could've done it but, fuck pulling less than 5 mobs at a time) I just took off an 845 trinket then all the mobs lost 30% of their max hp and I started taking no damage cause they thought I was 835 ilvl and I lost 1.3k agi and 1k vers, so like 4% of my damage

it's not the mobs having more hp, I could care less about mobs having 500k-3M more, it's that they hit a fuckload harder, like dying in about 10-15s to dying
and why would I want to take 10min looking for the right pulls safe from 30 patting elites that can kill me around I could unequip 1 trinket and faceroll through 25 mobs in a couple minutes

honestly I'd enjoy it if the quest were to kill the elites, but when the quest is to kill 20 casters that come in clumps of 2-5 and are spread out just enough I cant just butchery them, it's just a lot faster to get my ap and leave the other way

honestly though in some regards, yes it is nice to have moderate solo content again, but I just want my ap before I go to work

Thanks. I have WW at 100 already so I might just stick with that. I agree that they're slow but there are worse classes for that. You're right about the new sub golden trait looking really nice though. Havoc was just an idea because it's faster paced. I'm not really interested in hunter outside of survival, though, so I don't know if I would main one.

Actually I just did an 11 on my disc, just did barrier for 100% atonement and dmg red+lights wrath to instantly get everyone back to 100% after they dipped for first set, then rapture(grace) +mind bender and sm spam. The 20% increase from ToF during that shit makes it no big deal.
