Jade mechanic is much stronger, and in current meta you will use idol for golem only in 90% of the games, but single card is better than idol. Every other turn idol will do nothing and you only draw 1 card. Imagine that rogue card with Vanish in lategame. It does require more setup in sense of needing to draw 2 of them, but after that combo is pretty strong.

They're trying to push buffadin but it's way too fucking hard to actually play 6 fucking buffs in a reasonable amount of time because you need to summon minions to play them on first.

In other words, it's shit. You either make a deck dedicated to shitting out tons of low cost buffs on shitty 1-drops and silver hands to complete the quest by turn 5 and lose because you have no fucking tempo and get steamrolled or you play a real deck that just happens to have buffs in it and lose because you're shitty, mediocre Paladin deck is weaker than your opponent's deck and you can't complete the quest till like turn 12 or some garbage.

New player here, Ive blasted through the innkeeper and expert innkeeper, now i want to start looking at a deck to build towards, Ive just been using a homebrew neutral deck for each character, classes Ive enjoyed the most were shaman, warlock and priest, what decks should i look to working towards? Play 1-4 mana warlock and neutral minions that buff each other (Dire Wolf, Defender of Argus, Abusive Sergent...).
Fight for board, do efficient trades, tap with spare mana.

I'm not that dude, and he's not trying to use MTG text, so I don't really see the point, especially since when you get into the details there are irresolvable differences between how MTG and HS handle tokens and death/damage triggers. But my first drafts would be:

When Yogg-Saron enters the battlefield, copy X sorcery cards chosen at random where X is the number of sorceries you've cast this game. For each copy, cast that copy without paying its mana cost, selecting targets at random.
When Yogg-Saron leaves the battlefield, exile all spells.

When N'zoth enters the battlefield, choose X creature cards with deathrattle from your graveyard at random, where X is 7 minus the number of creatures you control. For each of those cards, choose a card you own from outside the game with the same name as that card and put that card onto the battlefield. Creatures that enter the battlefield this way don't cause abilities to trigger.

When C'thun enters the battlefield, it deals 1 damage divided randomly between any number of creatures you don't control and/or opponents, where X is its power. A creature can't be dealt more than lethal damage this way.
C'thun gets gets +1/+1 for each experience counter you have.

Twilight elder, at the end of your turn gain an experience counter
doomcaller, gain 3 experience counters, if there's a card named C'thun in your graveyard, choose a card named C'thun you own from outside the game and shuffle it into your library
twin emperor, if you have 4 or more experience counters create a 4/6 emperor token with taunt

Also, we don't know how it works with innervate and the coin. I think living mana will not destroy mana crystals you don't have. So maybe you'll get only 1 treant this way. This means you'll spend three cards and 6 mana to get a single 2/2.

Dude that did the autistic wording on C'thun here, yours wouldn't work since C'thun keeps his ritual buffs if you put it on the battlefield and the opponent gains control of it. It only looses the buffs when it goes to the opponent's deck, hand or graveyard (or is silenced).
Also, if you want to put counters on the hero, you have to differenciate between health and power counters since blade of C'thun can add different values.
