Ringed City itself had some nice details here and there but the layout was pretty much shit all the way through. The ringed knights were really the only good thing about it.
The Dreg Heap was actually better in this regard since it had you doing something fairly original but it too had a big swamp. And was also insanely short, I'm pretty sure it was about the length of the high wall.

I've finally beaten it for the first time at NG+++.

Prince was hard.
Dragon gave me a harder time, hardest boss for me in the game. I always sucked at dragon fights like Kalameet and Sihn. Still it gives you the best feeling when you beat him.

Church was a neat throwback to the old monk.

Gael was cool, reminded me of a tankier artorias with literally Maria's blood aftereffect. RNG lightning wasn't really problem to handle.

You can roll through the fire breath and you'll only take plinking damage from the remains on the ground.
Unlike, say, the dragonfire in high wall, it isn't an area-wide fire effect. Where the fire burns is really the only area where you can get burned if you walk through it I think.

GUYS, WHEN YOU BEAT GAEL YOU CAN GET 2 TITANITE SLABS IN THE AREA.

First teleport back to the bonfire called filianores rest. FROM THERE, hug the left wall, you will find a ringed knight with the dual wield swords. Kill him and get the slab.

Next - you will have to kill Midir first, then teleport to Filianores rest again, this time hug the right wall, untill you find a "hidden path" where you will be invaded. She will drop a slab as well.

Aim for 40 or 45 in int and faith.
Aim for 40 Vigor.
Gonna need some endurance as well.
Dex and Str should be kept to minimum, find what weapons you wanna use and get their minimal requirements.
Or just go absolute minimum at 10 each and use an infused longsword.
Attunement givess you a spell slot each 6 points, so go for 24, or if you somehow still have points 30.
