You can get by with just FBD+ Mag/Atk breakdowns if you have native Last Stand and two Medica BSBs(Vanille+Relm BSB combo feels like the optimum setup going that way). I dont have Last Stand so I am going the break route.

My choices for medica BSB are Eiko, Yuna2, and Y'shtola (w/SSII). Not sure if I should omit my Tyro (only has BSB) and Yuna, and bring in Eiko & my strongest physical character (with enelement & osb) instead. Will have to use ability slots for ProShellga in that case, which could be a problem. Edge SSB and Onion BSB are pretty much mandatory for this team.

I'm torn. I might be able to get to 50 mythril again before anniversary ends but banner 4 sucks for me. I blew 150 mythril on the first VI banner and I have 2 Setzer cards, 2 Locke jackets, and 2 relm brushes to show for it. I want something good from VI but... eh

That depends on what you want to do. Units like Onion Knight, the Veritases, Tidus, Balthier and Eileen are all super strong. In terms of expressly chaining Orlandu is hard to beat but there's going to be other base 5* units that can both compete with him and provide their own unique skillsets.

For example, Eileen is basically Orlandu but for Earth instead of Holy. Onion Knight is Luneth but better in virtually every way.

Using two Chizurus can chain just fine. Can Ele-Chain with Kazekiri.

Orlandeau just has Excalibur and Light Imperil so he can actually do a lot of damage while building a chain.

I'm glad I have Olive. Its easy to get more damage out of a Dual Wielder, but not likely to get big combos on every hit, like chaining both of Luneth's Cutthroughs. Olive puts all her damage into one big hit with Doublehand, so those multipliers really shine for her

This is gonna take a shitload of math and autism to explain. The first orlandu's first hit does not benefit from imperil, so we have to calculate it separately. See pic related for the breakdown on the modifiers (and multiply them by 4/7).
We then add them all separately while taking into account the difference in ATK between Excalibur and Genji Blade.

Yeah, since on any boss that you really need breakdowns for, it just takes too long to not start with SB bar. It means that it takes a while to get the USB off, but you're probably better off in the long run that way.
