This morning, I awoke to discover that I can hear all of Joker's thoughts. All of them, including the ones he has while rutting with his synthetic toy.

All of my attempts to kill myself have been unsuccessful. Last night I attempted to electrocute myself with a hair dryer in my bath, but the hair dryer turned itself off in self defense. This game feels like it has a massive void in it, and I think that void is no Tali. I literally don't think I can enjoy Mass Effect with a shy, quirky Quarian qt to romance.

I'm romancing PeeBee right now, but it's just cringy and dumb. I remember the first time Tali told Shepard she had a crush on the cute commander who took her on his ship and brought her along to save the galaxy. PeeBee is doing nothing for me right now, she's just saying "Oh haha yeah I flirt with you ;)"

God dammit this game fucking sucks. I might just re-play Mass Effect 2 after I beat this to get that Mass Effect feeling back.

the combat is fun, but has a pretty steep learning curve and companions are worthless until you max them out. The animations for the more ordinary-looking faces (everything but turians and krogan) are pretty bad, but the environments are pretty.
Plot is kinda horriffic, as are most of the characters. Romances are bad except for Jaal and Vetra

To be honest, the real weakness of this game comes from how the open world was handled. Instead of getting a line of missions like in ME2, you get this shit where you have to sit on the Nomad for a while, then do this tiny camp, then sit on the nomad for a while. The combat is actually fucking good as hell but the open world bullshit is just not conducive to it. Luckily, most major missions go back to the mission design of ME2

That and the NPCs. My god did they do NPCs so fucking wrong. You can ask literally every NPC in the game their life fucking story, why they are doing what they are doing and how they got here. What bothers me is that sexual preference is a character trait. The characters in ME are supposed to exist as their own characters separate from the PC. So with a few exceptions for bi people, or asari most people should just be straight. You should have the option to come onto them, and then get turned down (which is basically what happens). Unfortunately reliving their real life experience in the game is too much for gays, so they need to push all the characters towards blank slates.

I'll go out on a limb and say in bioware's future nobody cares if somebody's gay. I highly doubt a krogan would agree. Where's the gay-bashing krogan? Can I recruit him to get liam off my ship?

If it wasn't a squadmate, it wasn't worth shit to people. Jaal became that "last bastion" because they thought that a new alien should be available to everyone and because of datamining assumptions.
