Here is a high resolution version of that pic, maybe someone can make out more. It doesn't quite look exactly like Godnight, but it's still too similar to be anything else. And since they ask 'Who is this?' in the tweet it's pretty clear that it is someone we can know, which means it's a licensed killer.

Everyone seems pretty convinced that this "Goodnight" fellow is the new killer. How about this as an alternative. Rather than him, what if it was this Vigo fellow?

Sure, he's got a bunch of survivor items named after him, but all the quotes I saw attributed to him seem fairly bitter in tone. At least two of the items are fairly morbid in composition, and would probably have to have been made from fellow survivors.

A fun thing I was just able to test on my own computer. I've been having trouble getting steady frame rates lately, even after making a pretty beefy upgrade to my computer. I found out that DBD doesn't play nice with FreeSync.

My personal guess is that whatever code they're using to limit the fps to 60 doesn't play nice with the graphics card constantly reporting, "Hey, it's cool man. Get me that frame whenever you're ready." I haven't seen anyone else mention it, but I definitely started having issues with frame hitching after the big engine update, and it's much better now.

Ok, that does look like Outlast. Waylon Park is a software engineer working on their dream engine, so that would kind of fit with the machinist thing they have hinted to. Killer looks nothing like Trager though: more body mass, headgear, different ears, clothing, weapon, no visible hair...

Maybe it's someone from Outlast 2? Through from the teaser, it looks like Outlast 2 has a religious theme as well, which is iffy.

Maybe it's Trager Revived, wearing some gear because he was crushed by the elevator. In which case we get another insane asylum map.

Minor improvements to Survive with Friends Matchmaking (ignore servers for which a connection was already attempted and failed, sequentially attempt to join each search result before making a new search)


While investigating analytic reports from players attempting to matchmake in Survive with Friends mode, we've noticed that join attempts of the exact same lobby would frequently happen. Additionally, when searching for available lobbies, survivors would usually receive a list of multiple options but only attempt to join the first one before doing another search which resulted in increased waiting time. With these changes, we have tried to improve these two cases specifically. However, there are still a few additional problems we are trying to resolve with matchmaking and Survive with Friends. The most important ones are the lack of prioritization for older survivor lobbies as well as the contention issues when multiple survivors or groups attempt to join a lobby simultaneously. As mentioned previously, we are currently working on transitioning the matchmaking logic from the game clients to our own servers which will allow us to solve these issues.

I recently started playing and hit Rank 10 and below. After a while of continuing to play fair and getting shat, meme'd and taunted on for it, I have now started to run Iron Grasp + Agitation. I just put the first cunt in the basement, build a trap fortress around it, patrol any gens close enough to make it back and secure at least 10k points and two sacs every round.

Killers need a speed boost and they need to remove the auto-aim, not just nerf it. Its annoying as shit.

I main survivor, but just started playing killer to test, auto aim have fucked me 3 out of 3 games now.

Havent met too many pallet loopers yet, only one. I can see how this is gonna be annoying if everyone is doing it, if its only one survivor per game its fine.

I dont pallet loop myself when i play survivor, i think its cancer.
