It's funny, I picked up BE because it was supposed to have a story instead of just being a nostalgiafest like RK and as I became more intimate with the mobile game business model I realized having a story is the worst thing this kind of game can have. They'll keep extending and dragging along the story endlessly while the game is popular and probably give us a rushed and unsatisfying conclusion (if that) when people stop spending money on it.

It's almost a good thing that BE has an awful story and I don't give a shit whether Rain will solve his daddy issues or Laswell will stop the crawling in his skin.

It's fine, since a support character can use it as damage when it isn't debuffing. It's probably a little too much, but you won't run out of uses normally so you can hone normal breakdowns to a lower level.

The game is close to being 2 years old, dunno I think adding more end game stuff won't hurt it. Maybe a game mode that forces you to use multiple rosters or something like that so you give people even more reason to spend money/grind for free.

Plus, I have Ramza's Shout and OK and be magic or physical. Maybe round it out with Arc for heals. Just my initial thoughts though, let me know if anything stands out.

Good concept honestly, you already have all the basics down in that setup (+MAG, healer, pentabreaker support). All you have to do with that is RW a Fire Imperil or Wall as needed and roll with it. Even though you have Imperil Holy, Celes OSB abuse works a lot better if you have the EnHoly BSB so I'd say hold off on any Holy planning for now until you get more of it (and there's a million Holy soul breaks out there, it won't be hard).

Problem is, you won't have time to use it anyways. Here's what WoL can choose to do on any given turn:

You're pretty much always going to have something to do. Obviously, more options is never a bad thing in case you need the extra healing.

I realized my VI was on the weaker end, my only weapons for it being a Shadow SSB, a Terra SSB, and Locke's original Rising Sun. Besides some max reforged crystal swords, that is. Armor is fine because the 4* helms are so good.

I kind of just wanted Locke's BSB, or maybe even Setzer BSB, but oh well.

Oh cool. The Levistone in FF1 in Japanese is called ふゆうせき (pronounced fuyuuseki). Turns out the Pumice in FF9 was a reference to that, the Japanese name of the Pumice is also ふゆう石 (same word, just using the kanji for the "seki"). Add another to FF9's reference tally.

The penultimate draw. We're almost at the end. After 18 x11 career draws (16 if you don't count lucky banners) Lightbringer finally makes it's appearance. Thank you, Based Thunder God.

Also, my first 5/11 draw ever, after playing since day 1. The other four are the wrong items, but Dancing Mad is now 8*, and Leo's sword would be 9* if such a thing were possible (I had one from it's debut). Leo is a total bro, so I'm okay with this.

However, this leaves me with my back against the wall for the final draw...

Oh, that wasn't as bad as I thought, just a bit slow. Although I could've rethought some stuff: Give Mog the magic breakdown dance instead of having Terra break every now and then, swap out armor break for something better for Celes, use OK BSB instead of choosing a random SB (Tyro USB).
Celes, Relm, and Kefka had their SSBs. Terra had her BSB, but it didn't contribute as much as the other three. Mog didn't have jack shit, but a 2nd healer was nice.

This is it. No turning back now. I set out on this quest knowing it was very possibly suicidal. I ran hundreds of test draws on Altema to test the waters. For two months now, I've had a dedicated browser tab open to the test draw where I pulled three Save the Queens simultaneously, and I had that page up during this whole ordeal for good luck. With the event only lasting a few more days, there would be no way to mine out enough mythril to try again. This was truly the end of the road. It would take a longshot of several thousand to one to make this happen.

I had one thing going for me- my results had to be the most magically memetic of all things: doubles. So I gave one final offering of thanks to the Based Thunder God and focused all of my meme magic into one last click.

And a double I received, although not what I was hoping for. My meme magic just wasn't quite strong enough. But I fulfilled my promise to you, /ffg/. That's something Vaynefraud can't say.

So here's the final tally. Not pictured are two extra Soul Sabres and a Leo sword that were fed to Save the Queen as augment fodder, as well as the 8* Leo sword. Grand total was 22 5* items out of 10 x11 draws, or 2.2 relics per draw, which is very average.

Well, I'm hoping I can scrounge up 50 mythril in time to take a stab at Beatrix's new stuff, not sure if that'll happen or not. After that, it's back to saving for Celes's legend materia and godly BSB2.

At those levels, two characters at the very most holding +EXP RMs if available. One should have some sort of heal spell, while the other has AoE damage. Using AoE bursts commands like >>172193664 mentioned helps for the first two stages. The mini-cactuars can be brutal if you've ran out of RW charges.
Please take advantage of s/l if you need to; it really helps to go into a round with as little damage & and fast as possible. That might be more tedious than just running it normally, but the potential EXP lost from mastery to expert can hurt.

Is the ultimate acid rain bad enough to want to avoid hitting weaknesses? I have plenty of heavy hitting holy and fire shit
