Let's be honest guys. There's not really an ideal starting point in the franchise. Every localized game has some game-breaking flaw that you have to get used to in order to enjoy.

>FE7 has 1/3rd of the game being about Lyn, but she's placed on the backburner for the rest of the game after her Uncle battle is over.
>FE8 is extremely short and easy. Both the twins are lucky everything went well in the end, despite the tons of bad decisions they made mid-story.
>FE9 barely had any flaws(aside from bad class balancing), but suffers from half-a-story syndrome that you now see in modern DLC.
>FE10's Micaiah levels are a bitch to play as if no one tells you that you need to spend as much as you can investing exp into the Dawn Bridge
>FE11-12 is dull as shit in both gameplay and character dialogue, later maps are virtually unplayable if you fuck up your team
>FE13 had bad maps and wonky character development
>FE14 had good maps and gimmicky characters, and Corrin being Corrin

Hey /feg/, just started heroes like 4 days ago. My team's looking half decent already with a 5* Lucina, 5*Elise, 4* Corrin and 4* Gunter.
