Missable side quests that you either need to talk to everyone to find or use a guide. If you don't care about getting the plat or being a completionist then you don't need to worry about it.
Framerate during the school festival

Could go either way:
Lots of world building
Long game
Dub only (but the dub is pretty good)
School setting

Story is pretty good but it's a slow burn. Characters are archetypes but they do grow a bit. Difficulty wise I think Hard mode is just right to make normal enemies not be push overs, but make bosses not feel impossible either.
All that said I think you should go for it. I don't think it's on sale this week digitally, but the LE on Amazon was still $30 last I checked.

Dariusburst is good. And the soundtrack is amazing, honestly quite possible some of Zuntata's best.

But something about the game just doesn't cut it for me. You have a shield strong enough to take a considerable number of hits, and while it's certainly POSSIBLE to beat every stage in the game without getting hit, some attacks just feel so unbalanced and unfair that it feels like you're supposed to just get hit and deal with it. This immediately kills a shmup for me.

I like the arcade mode when playing actually at the arcade with the double HD setup. But I think everyone can acknowledge that it just doesn't work on the vita.

The CS mode is cool, sure. They did a nice job of compressing the stuff to one screen. But why couldn't they just give me a single game that I could play from beginning to end instead of a bunch of repetitive quests where I have to fight the same bosses over and over and over?

I realize that in a standard shmup, you'd just have five bosses you'd fight over and over anyway, but I prefer that setup where you can just play the game from beginning to end, instead of a huge bajillion-hour long campaign.

Also, I just in general prefer games with smaller hitboxes and more bullets than environmental hazards. Recca, Mushihimesama Futari, Ibara: Pink Sweets Arrange are some of my favorites.

What's the best fighting game for the vita?

So, I'm playing Elminage.
Collecting +2 alchemy materials from trash collectors, 1 of all 6 types from each collector, paralyzing/petrifying them and then stealing away.
I have 24 free slots in my inventory, so I can steal 4 of each type before having to go back.
Materials have between 5 and 50 AP (with 50 being fucking rare, I only ever found one), and I use anything over 44 to modify my gear (my lowest in the gear is 43, so I would replace it).
I'm a bit at a loss of what to do with lower AP stuff, however: I have just found out by experimenting, that if you sell to the shop an item over 255 times, you can buy an infinite amount of it afterwards. Now, if you sell materials to the shop, regardless of the original AP, the shop sells them back as 10 AP materials. I used this in the past to trade in 5-9 AP materials for 10 AP ones. However, by my new find, I could get infinite 10 AP materials for cheap, which I could make into crow bells (by using 2 of them) to sell back for money. Effectively, infinite money/experience (since money is tradable for experience).
My alchemist is kinda high level, so if the sum of 2 materials' AP is 41, he can make a philosopher's stone out of it, which sells for a lot of money (so, a lot of experience).
What I'm wondering is, should I continue making philosopher stones and sell only lowest materials, or just sell all my materials to the shop until I break over 255? This might take QUITE a lot of time, however.

There seems to be a bug where if you download to PS3, and then go to transfer to Vita, it won't show up in the content manager. This happened was reported by another anon last thread, and subsequently happened to me as well. In my case, I was able to download it to Vita directly.

Anon said that Xseed has had this as a random glitch with some games before, so it might not be limited to Ys I & II. I had no problem with SK Bon Appetit, but it might be a PSP thing.
